Mrs. Reiser has worked at Vineyard for ten years and says that what she enjoys most about the school are the children, parents, and colleagues. col-leagues. Festive fun is to be had by all at the Orem High Show and Chamber Medieval Feaste of Christmas Madrigal Dinner. This annual celebration of the Early-out schedule for Lakeridge Jr. High We would like to make the patrons of Lakeridge Jr. High aware that our next early-out day-will be on Wednesday, December 11, 1996. On this day, the faculty will meet in their Action Teams to address issues particular to their group. The Action Teams are the groups that are working on carrying car-rying out the outlined goals and purposes of our Centennial Grant. The entire faculty will also hear from a representative of each of the Action Teams in order to gain a better understanding under-standing of how the eight identified iden-tified needs are being addressed. The identified needs of Lakeridge Junior High's Strategic Plan are: Technology, discipline, tutorial, enrichment, curriculum coordination, assessment as-sessment coordination, in-service coordination, and communication com-munication coordination. On early-out days, students will attend every class for 30 minutes and lunches will be served in the regular sequence. The students will be released from school at 1 p.m., at which time the buses will be here to 14 W I ..w meet new people, and see new places. During the Utah Centennial Centen-nial year, they have particularly enjoyed visiting every county in Utah, seeing unique places, beautiful scenery, and interesting interest-ing historical locations. ". "Utah truly is a beautiful place with sights just as amazing amaz-ing and remarkable as other areas of the world we have visited," Mrs. Reiser said. "If you haven't taken the opportunity to visit Utah during this centennial centen-nial year, I highly recommend season will feature music from the award-winning OHS Show and Chamber Choir. She believes that "all kids need their education", and she "hopes they will always have a desire to get it." She and her husband, Mark, have five children and live in Orem. She really enjoys golf, baseball, fishing, and shooting sporting clays. Evelyn Faden was chosen Vineyard's "Patron of the Month". She enjoys working with the teachers and students in the first grade. Mrs. Faden will be 77 years old next mon th. ' ' She has a daughter in Altadena, California; a son in Provo; and a ' daughter who teaches dance at BYU-Hawaii. She also has nine grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. This is her 13th year of tutoring two mornings each week at local elementary schools through the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.
