Presentations by professionals profes-sionals will be presented on subjects sub-jects related to breast cancer. The meetings will be held at Orem Community Hospital, 331 N. 400 West, Orem, Thursdays from 7-9 p.m. The room will be announced and the meetings are free. Ortiz of Orem, Utah, will marry Robert David Murdock, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Murdock, also of Orem, on Friday, September 10, 1993 at the Old Meeting House, Salt Lake City, Utah. A luncheon reception will be held following the ceremony at the same location. Maid of Honor is Christy Tousley with Ashley Collins as flower girl. UV Quilt Guild to meet Quilting experts will answer questions at the next Utah Valley Quilt Guilt meeting Wednesday, Sept. 15, at 2 p.m. at the Provo Eldred Center, 270 W. 500 North, Provo. The well-known panel of four will consist of Karen Parkinson, -Penny Stephenson, Marva Dalebout, and Dolly Miller, they will share their expertise and give practical solutions to piecing, applique, ap-plique, and quilting problems.. Please call Sharon Geurts, 375-8526, if you have a question to submit. Local artist Liz Laney will be teaching the 9:30 a.m. workshop. Her original design "Dresden Sunflower," a miniature wall quilt, will be taught. Participants will need to bring their sewing machines, basic sewing kits, their own fabrics, and pay a class fee. The Quilt Guild Board is encouraging en-couraging donations of children's quilts to the "Women and children in Crisis Center." These quilts can be turned in at any regular meeting. L HOME ouse Nellie Bullock The children of Nellie Bun-Bullock Bun-Bullock held a surprise party Saturday, Sept. 4, to celebrate Nellie's 95th birthday. Nellie has lived in the Provo-Orem area all of her life land and had expressed a desire to have all of her posterity around her. So the surprise was planned with grandchildren coming from other states. Mrs. Bullock has six children, 22 grandchildren, 82 greatgrandchildren great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren, for a total of 114 posterity. Two grandchildren died in their thirties. The party was held at Orem Senior Center Park. Nellie lives in her own home where she cares for her own needs, enjoying good health, attends the Temple, cares for her flowers, enjoys reading and does a lot of it. She also has made several quilts and has made several crib quilts that she donated to the Primary Children's Hospital. She is greatly great-ly loved by her family. Several gifts were given to Nellie, but the most unusual was TODD E.
