Shane Ewell, son of Richard and Ann Ewell of Grandview, on Friday, September 18 in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A wedding breakfast will follow in Salt Lake City. A reception will honor the couple that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and will include a program and dancing at Orem Stake Center, 481 East Center, Orem. This event welcomes friends and love ones. Bridal attendants will be Stacy Comstock and Julie Backus, sisters of the bride, as maids of honor and Rachael Ure, Nicole Mitchell, Darlene Backus, Jenny Larson and Shelle Ewell attending as bridesmaids. Best man will be Steven Ewell, brother of the groom with Tray Backus, Mark Backus, Jared Backus and Roger Comstock attending. attend-ing. The bride is a graduate of Orem high School and L.D.S. Seminary and has attended at-tended UVCC for the nursing program. The groom is a graduate of Provo High School. He served a mission in Pennsylvania, Pennsyl-vania, Pittsburgh Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The groom is a graduate of UVCC in Electrical Automation Automat-ion Robotics Technology. Following their honeymoon, the couple will make their home in Provo. Season begins for Chauntenette chorus Another season has begun for the Chauntenettes Ladies Chorus, the officers for the 1992-93 year are Cheri Vickery, Pres.; Carolyn Mock, Vice-Pres.; and Val Phelon, Secretary. They are excited about the new year and anxious to implement imple-ment this year's theme which is "Living a Christlike Life." Pres. Vickery said, Tm looking forward to pursuing this theme as a goal for the group as well as personally. I hope that we can convey this feeling feel-ing through our music to everyone who hears us this year." The chorus consists of approximately ap-proximately 65 women who live in Utah Valley ranging from American Fork on the north to Spanish Fork on the south. They meet every Wednesday night for rehearsals from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Suncrest Elementary, 668 W. 150 N. Orem. These include one sacrament Annual LDS Women's Meeting Scheduled Meeting Will Reach Hundreds of Thousands Via Satellite The Annual General Women's Meeting of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be conducted in the Tabernacle on Temple Square Saturday, September Sep-tember 26, 1992, the First Presidency has announced. The program will be broadcast broad-cast live over the Church's satellite satel-lite network to more than 3,000 locations in the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Haiti and the West Indies. All women and young women 12 years of age and older are invited in-vited to attend the meeting, which will begin at 6 p.m. (MDT). The program will be re-broadcast over the satellite network at 8 p.m. (MDT) and will also be broadcast at 8 p.m. over KBYU-TV, KBYU-TV, Channel 11, the Public Broadcasting System station on the campus of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Her children are planning several celebrations in honor of this special spe-cial event. Her family will gather on Saturday for a traditional picnic. pic-nic.
