There : will be a- new instructor, new green wear giving seniors an early start for beautiful gifts for the holiday season. Also planned for next week are three pre-noon dances with the Hitch Hikers on Tuesday, Papa's Parlor Pickers Wednesday and the Orem Harmonica Band. . ,. . Other activities daily, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. include pool, quilting, cards and socializing. On Tuesday of each week from 8:30 to 12, seniors are invited to use the facilities of the Free Health ; Screening Clinic at the center, Alo, , Monday , Wednesday antf Friday at 11:15 the Sit and Stay Fit' exercise , class is held. For those fifty and over who enjoy ballroom dancing, a live orchestra performs every Saturday night from 8 to 11 p.m. JThere is still time to sign up for the overnight trip to Peppermill in Wendover scheduled to leave the center at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, June 10. Cost of the tour includes the hotel . room, cash discounts and other concessions. Also two exciting tours are on the agenda during the summer and early fall months. Rushmore National Park as well as a tour to the Badlands country is scheduled with a stay on return in Jackson Hole. Also planned for Sept.' 15-18 is a four day to Sun Valley and Lava Hot Springs. There will be an overnight stay at Cactus Pete's in Jackpot as well as an overnight stay at beautiful Sun Valley Lodge. On the return trip participants can enjoy Lava Hot Springs. MVE-1S Students' Win Scholarships Fourteen junior students at Mountain View High School have earned scholarships to attend the annual Brigham Young University summer advanced high school studies program in computer science. Students will attend the program on the "Y" campus August 4th through August 15th. This program is the equivalent of CS 142, BYU's first course for students competing for admission to the computer science major. Students will learn structured design Adventists Conference June 16-21 Utah Valley Seventh-day Adventists will host the Nevada-Utah Conference of Seventh-day Adventists annual summer campmeeting, June 16-21, in Hobble Creek Canyon, featuring speakers, music, recreation and fellowship for over 1,000 individuals. .' This year's theme is "Our God Is Able," and will feature meetings Monday through Saturday, from 6:45 a.m. through the evening meetings which begin at 7 p.m. Elder Jere Webb, Southeastern California Conference evangelist, will present the evening messages including: "The War Is Over," "How to Cope with the Pain of Personal Tragedy," "How to Cope With Life's Insecuritiesl""Unburied Bones,'! .'Where Is the Bridge?" and "The Peril of Divided Loyalties."
