Hinckley Seeks Water Funds The Town of Hin ckley, located about five miles southwest of Delta, has applied to the Utah Board of Water Resources for $527,500 in Cities Water Loan Program funds to upgrade its water storage and distribution system. Mayor Walter L. Ekins indicates the project will help to overcome the problems of inadequate water storage and an outdated water distribution system facing the town and allow for the growth anticipated from the construction and operation of the Intermountain In-termountain Power Project. He says the water project consists of November 25, 1981 constructing a 400,600 gallon storage reservoir, installation of new water distribution lines, and connection to a well to be jointly drilled by Deseret and Oasis. The Division of Water Resources, Utah Department of Natural Resources and Energy, will study the proposed project before the Board makes a decision on the application. 1 - n . ii . n ) i i i - n The Board of Directors of United Way of Utah County believes that the most responsive contributors are those who have the opportunity to become informed and involved.
