Dr. and Mrs. Victor Andrew Ishoy, Citrus Heights, Calif., formerly of Orem, joined with the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Richard Veech, Oakley, 111., to witness the ceremony cere-mony with the members of the families and close friends. A wedding luncheon lun-cheon followed in the garden of Mr. and Mrs. Gary D. Hjorth, Spring-ville. Spring-ville. , Tpnight the wedding party will be hosted at a reception in the Schoen-wald Schoen-wald Terrace on the Orem-Provo hill. The bride will receive in a bouffant gown of silk chiffon, trimmed with chantilly lace on a ruffled skirt with a modified train. Up-Date Study To Begin At Local College An up-dated system of organization and operational oper-ational management for Utah Technical College at Provo-Orem will result from a study soon to begin with a national education management institute, UTC President Wilson W. .Sorensen announced recently. Because of the college's col-lege's substantial growth within the past five years, both in enrollment and physical facilities, its present system is in need of up-dating. Accordingly, the college has enlisted the aid of the Higher Education Edu-cation Managment Institute, Insti-tute, an arm of the American Ameri-can Education Association. Associa-tion. Utah Tech will work through the regional office of-fice of the HEMI in San Francisco. A task force has been named by President Sorensen from the faculty and administration at Utah Tech which will work with the HEMI in a study which should be completed in about a year. Recommendations will be instituted as soon as agreed upon, and the finished plan should be in operation within a year. The plan will be a subject to two reviews at the end of the next two years. Necessary changes, if any, may be made at those times. Lines of authority in administration and a general gen-eral administrative overhaul over-haul will result from the study. Women's Club Installs New 1980 Officers Mrs. Fred (Gena) Gourdin was installed President of Orem Women's Wo-men's Club at installation ceremonies held May 17 at the Heritage House. Retiring . President, Mrs. Richard Nimer, conducted con-ducted and the following were installed: Mrs. Fred Gourdin, President; Mrs. Mitchel Huntsman, Pres.-elect; Pres.-elect; Mrs. Marvin Ras-mussen, Ras-mussen, Recording Secretary; Sec-retary; Mrs. Neal Bunnell, Bun-nell, Corresponding Secretary Sec-retary and Historian; Mrs. M. L. Busk, Treasurer; Trea-surer; Mrs.ilulon Mansfield, Mans-field, Parlimentarian Mrs. Richard Nimer, Director. Mrs. Ronald Adams was the installing officer. Mrs. Nimer presented a special tribute to all members and to her Board. Cosmotologists Meet Tonight The Utah Cosmotologists Cosmoto-logists and Hairdressers Association Affiliate No. 1 of North Utah County will hold a meeting this evenin" at 7:30 in the Orem City Center.
