Show John Gillman John Gillman, 67, of 405 East 1600 North, Orem, died September 3, at Utah Valley Hospital of a stroke. Gillman was born on April 10, 1910 in Lindon to J.W. and Estella Walker Gillman. He married Donna Don-na Madsen on November 2, 1932 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was active in civic affairs in Orem and had also served on ser-veral ser-veral state committees. A member of the board of Timp Soil Conservation District supervisors super-visors since itsi organization in the 1940's, he served as president of the board of the Provo Reservoir Water Users Association and on the board of directors of Commercial Commer-cial Security Bank, at the time of his death. He was a board member of the Provo River Water Users Association, Union Reservoir Co., Utah Water Users Association, and the Provo River Distribution System. A past president of the Orem City Metropolitan Water Board, he had been a member of the Utah State A.S.C.S. Committee for eight years. From 1969 to 1977 he was director of marketing and consumer con-sumer services for the Utah State Department of Agriculture. He also was a member of the board of directors of Orem State Bank. . He was a member of the Utah County Farm Bureau and a board member of the Eldred Foundation. He had been on the Utah State Fair board for 20 years and at the time of his death was on the Utah State Board of Exposition. Survivors include his widow; one son, three daughters, J. Wayne Gillman, Bountiful; Mrs. John (Karen) Haebig, Houston, Texas; Mrs. Bill (Karmen) Streng, Davis, California; Mrs. Vern (Audrey) Bailey, Orem; five grandsons; four brothers and five sisters, Wendell Gillman, Alaska; Glade Gillman, Dean Gillman, Mrs. Sterling (LaRue) Burningham, Orem; Norman Nor-man Gillman, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Frank (Edna) Walker, Mrs. Elroy (Bess) West, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Clark (Rhea) Conder, Bishop, California; Mrs. Donna Shilton, Lehi. Funeral services were held -Tuesday under the direction of Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary. Eldon Carter Preve Funeral services were held Wednesday Wed-nesday at the Provo Second LDS r Florence Tyler Florence Harvey Tyler, 79, of 740 North 300 East, Orem, died at Utah Valley Hospital August 31. She was born April 9, 1898 in Pleasant Grove to Lewis and Helen Alexander Harvey. She married Williard E. Tyler on March 1, 1924 In Salt Lake City and the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Tyler attended Pleasant Grove schools and LDS Business College. She worked for the Deseret News Publishing Co. in Salt Lake and worked with her husband in the newspaper business. She was active in the LDS Church and in politics. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Richard E. (Jane) Ballou, Hawaii, three gran-children; gran-children; three brothers and one sister, Leo Harvey, Mrs. Lucille Walker, both of Pleasant Grove; Dean Harvey, Salt Lake City; William Harvey, Pacific Grove, California. Funeral services were held Saturday in the Olpin Family Mortuary Mor-tuary in Pleasant Grove. Burial was in Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. foW ( n in) Mill:: Zorada Hard Zorada "Tom" Y. Hard, 44, of Denton, Texas and former Orem resident, died of a heart attack August 30 in Denton. Born September 15, 1934 in Mercedes, Texas, she was later married to Max J. Hard and he preceded her in death. Survivors include Michael and David Hard, both of Orem; Kenneth Ken-neth E. and John Hard, both of Denton; eight grandchildren; her mother, Dora Mae Slayton, Denton, Den-ton, and one sister, Tina Barber, Denton. Thursday Sept. 8, 1977 Gertrude Winn M. Gertrude Frederickson Winn, 88, of Ogden, died September 3, at the home of a daughter in Ogden, Mrs. Winn is the mother of Boyd ChubWinn of Orem. G. Salmon Warren G. Salmon, 56, of Downey, California and past resident of Orem, died August 31 in a small plane crash in Corona, California. Salmon was born December 20, 1920 in Devil's Slide, Morgan County, to J. Warren and Klea Gunn Salmon. He married Norma Forsey on June 11, 1947 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. While a small boy his family lived in Provo, then moved to Reno, Nevada, where he graduated from high school. He served in the military during World War 11 as an Army captain, before attending Brigham Young University in pre-dentistry. pre-dentistry. He graduated from the University Univer-sity of Neveda and received his degree in dentistry from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He practiced in Orem from 1950 to 1952 before moving to California. Active in the LDS Church, Salmon served as bishop of the Southgate Ward and on thehigh council of the Los Angeles Stake. Mrs. Jensen was born March 11, 1913 in Ekalaka, Montana, to Charles Henry and Hattie Bergstrom Atkinson. She married James A. Jensen on October 31, 1934 in Blackfoot, Idaho. She attended schools in eastern Montana and received nurses training in Idaho Falls. She worked for many years as a .nurse in Utah and Idaho and was employed em-ployed at the Utah State Hospital uvProvo for 19 years. Survivors include her husband; three daughters and one son, Mrs. Edward C. (Dagney) Robinson. Orem; Mrs. Carl E. (Joanne) Winget, West Jordan; Mrs. Jerry C. (Carol) Fraughton, American Fork; James C.
