Students Take Over Junior High A group of 40 Brigham Young University education students took over West Junior High School in Roosevelt, Utah last week. The peaceful invasion was part of a program enabling the 22 West Junior High teachers and administrators to attend a week-long workshop on improving im-proving teaching skills in classroom class-room situations with Indian students. stu-dents. Approximately 50 per cent of West's schools' student population popu-lation is Ute Indian, and the dropout rate among Indian students stu-dents is relatively high, said Dr. Ivan Muse, BYU assistant professor of education. "We hope by presenting prac tical information on working with Indian students, and by letting the faculty interact with Indian students at BYU, the problem will decrease somewhat," some-what," said Dr. Muse. er SEE NO WEEVIL FEAR NO WEEVIL With the TASTE NO WEEVIL WfMILL CHIP-PROOF MOISTURE-PROOF STAINLESS-STEEL HOUSING PROVEN BY 17 YEARS OF VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMERS FIVE YEAR UNCONDITIONAL GUARANTEE ON ALL PARTS Come in and compare all the brands of grain mills and bread mixers.
