Show Ardella West J.B. 'Judge' White Funeral services were held Saturday for J.B. "Judge" White, 70, of 912-8th East in Salt Lake City who died on arrival at a local hospital last Wednesday of natural causes. His stepson, Vern Kay Spiers, lives in Orem. Burial was in Salt Lake City cemetery. Ardella West Services Held ArdeUa Simmons West, K3, of 64 W. 700 N., Orem, died Wednesday at Utah Valley Hospital Hos-pital of leukemia. She was born Aug. 22, 1919 in Roosevelt to George E. and Elsie F. Marrott Simmons. She married Russell North West on July 28, 1943 in Pan-ama Pan-ama City, Fla. The marriage was solemnized later in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. In 1948 she moved to Orem. Mrs. West attended schools in Lapoint, Trldell and Alterra, Uintah County. She was active in the LDS Church, working in genealogy and Primary. She loved music. Her hobbies were fishing, golf, sewing and painting, paint-ing, and she played for dances. Mrs. West worked for Remington Arms in Salt Lake City and served in the WAC during World War II. Survivors include her husband one son, Matthew Lynden, Orem; her mother, Provo; five brothers and four sisters, Farrell Simmons, Sim-mons, Lapoint; Mrs. Charlie (Evelyn) S warts, Springville; Mrs. Wayne (Ora) Morrell, American Fork; Donald B.Simmons, B.Sim-mons, , (hiterocks, Uintah County; Orvin D. Simmons, Provo; Mrs. Ray (Lula) Holt and Merlin K. Simmons, both of Ogdun; Mrs, Ralph (Vwrrena) Prescott, Neola, Duchesne County; Coun-ty; and Leon Simmons, Syracruse, Davis County. Funeral services were held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Orem 10th-30th Ward Chapel with Bishop Ray Nelson officiating. Burial was in the Ephraim Park Cemetery, Florence Richardson Orem Woman Died Friday Florence Rhoda Gerber Richardson, 85, of 210 E. 1200 N., Orem, died Friday at her daughter's home in Granger. She was born March' 27, 1887 in Midway to Moroni and Emily Jane Jacob Gerber. She married Gilbert W. Richardson June 23, 1909 in Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Aug. 5, 1964. She married Carl Ferdinand Petersen on Nov. 1, 1925, in Loveland, Colo., and he died Jan. 16, 1954. She lived in Montana, Mon-tana, Colorado, Wyoming and moved to Orem in 1955. Jesse Niel Brown Jesse Niel Brown, 45, of Salt Lake City, died Wednesday Wednes-day at the Veteran's Hospital in Salt Lake City of natural causes. He was born Dec. 3, 1927, at Springville, to Jesse Amos Brown and Grace Thorpe Brown Schultz. He married Wanda Norton at Fresno, Calif., and was later divorced. His mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. J. Ray Schultz of Orem, are among his survivors. sur-vivors.
