Show Orem-Geneva Times Chauntenettes To Perform Saturday The busy and exciting season for the Chauntenettes will reach a climax Saturday evening, May 13, when they will present a concert especially for Mothers at the Windsor Ward in Orem at 8 p.m. The program will include: Trios: Laura Evans, Nina Johnson, Beth Noel; and Bea Hartshorn , Lois Park, Laura Evans. Duet, Ana Lou and Bud Patten. Solos; Belle Johnson, Charlene Lidlard. Special Childrens Chorus. During the season, the chorus has performed for various groups throughout the area, including Orem and Provo Senior Citizens, Citi-zens, countless Church meetings, convalescent centers, and the annual Christmas program held at the Orem City Center in conjunction con-junction with the Mendelssohn Male Chrous. Golfers Tie For Title Six of Oriai High School'sbest golfers will represent the Golden Tigers against eight other teams in the Region Four championship today at Wasatch State Park in Heber City. In an unusual circumstance, the best team effort between Orem and Carbon will be the region champion while the four best teams with the lowest scores will go to state. The Tigers and Dinos ended region play with a 6-2 tie record; therefore, the region championship champion-ship will be determined at the qualifying rounds today. Coach Flash Mikkelsen reported re-ported that Steve Christiansen, Kelly O'Neil, Dean Nielsen, and Doug Kump will be representing the Tigers for sure. The other two positions were determined late yesterday after final challenge chal-lenge matches were played. Two of these four are expected to go: Russ Schneider, Joe Kirwan, Keith Stewart, and Rick Pawolo-ski. Pawolo-ski. Only the four best scores of the six players from each team will be counted on the qualifying scores. Four teams with the lowest scores will go to state which will be played Monday, May 22, at Meadowbrook Golf Course near 4200 South and Redwood Road in Salt Lake City. Coach Mikkelsen observes that any team in region except for Pleasant Grove could be one of the qualifying teams for state. "They're all tough. he added.
