Jay Willes of 837 S. 150 W., Orem, recently received the Duty to God Award Alan has been active in church and school activities serving in many executive execu-tive offices in his priesthood quorum, scout troop, and explorer explor-er post. He is an Eagle scout and former chief in the Orem chapter of the Order of the Arrow. Ar-row. Alan is currently serving as Early Plants Now On By F. and G. Dept. Early fish plants from Department Depart-ment of Fish and Game hatcheries hatcher-ies are being made into several lower elevation waters as these waters warm up and begin to produce pro-duce food. These early fish plants are providing pro-viding improved fishing at some areas and provide space for the fish at hatcheries where they are overcrowded this time of year. Plating of 60,000 rainbow trout three to five inches long is scheduled sched-uled for Flaming Gorge May 1. Lake Powell is scheduled to receive re-ceive its planting of fish this fall. Five million walleye eggs are expected to be received soon. The block Y is situated 2000 feet above the campus and it's dimensions are 380'x60 Y Day tradition began in 1892 and has continued through the years until today is perhaps America's biggest and oldest clean-up campaign. Whitewashing the Y will be only one of many jobs to be completed by tha 20,000 student body. It has been estimated esti-mated that students will donate $50,000 worth of work to Provo and neighboring communities by cleaning parks, cemeteries, and camping sites in the near-by canyons. 'Buckets of Fun' On 'Y Day Agenda Buckets Full of Fun" will be the thenH of Y Day May 3, annual an-nual campus, community and county cleanup by Brigham Young University students. The date marks the 75th anniversary an-niversary of one of the nation's biggest cleanup campaigns. Balladeer Glenn Yarbrough will kick off the diamond anniversary at the pre Y-Day concert on May 2 at 9 p.m. in, the Smith Field-house. Field-house. Such events will include in-clude egg toss, wheelbarrow race, cageball, badminton, football, chess and checkers, tennis and water basketball with trophies offered of-fered wards, clubs, housing units, and independents competing. In addition a motorcycle and sports car gymkanha is scheduled for 2 p.m. At 1:30 p.m. buses will leave for Utah lake for the lakeside activities ac-tivities which will include kayak and tubing races, log rolling and kayak, jousting, dancing, tug-o- war, volley ball, horse shoes, fireside, boat and skiing rides and a water show at 4 p.m. At 8 p.m. there will be a performance per-formance of the play 'Elizabeth the Queen" by the BYUDramatic Arts Department and at the same time the performance of "Encore 67" in the Smith Fieldhouse. It will review the top happenings at BYU, including social, fine arts, athletic, etc. during the 1966-67 school year, sponsored by the ASBYU Culture Office.
