Show Orem-Geneva Times Thursday, May 24, 1962 Wizard of Oz' Appearing for Stake Benefit The LaVaun Turner Dance review "Wizard of Oz" was presented Wednesday night at the Manila ward. Over two hundred students participate in htis number, whose script was adopted from the original story by Mrs. Parlell Peterson. Another performance of this popular show will be presented present-ed this Saturday night at the Timpanogos Stake house. The Stake M Men and Gleaners are sponsoring the program. AC 5-0107 tf Brother of Orem Man Dies In Long Beach Word has been received in Orem of the death May 13 in Long Beach, Calif., of Earl Willes, 73, brother of Walter W. Willes of Orem and Mrs. Julia Edwards of Prove Mr. Willes died following a long illness. Services and burial bur-ial was in Long Beach. He was born May 31, 1888 In Salt Lake City, a son of Jesse and Emily H. Willes. He married Myrue wuigci iw. 5 1910. He was sheriff of Piute county from 1916 to 1918 and deputy sheriff of Salt Lake County from 1918 to 1920. He is survived by his widow three daughters and a son, Mrs. Florence W.
