Show 63rd Annual June MIA Conference To Meet in S.L.C. The 63rd annual June Conference Con-ference of the Mutual Improvement Im-provement association, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will be held June -15th through 17th In Salt Lake City. The final session of the conference con-ference Is planned especially for all MIA leaders to give them added Information con cerning the great Church wide missionary effort. In observance of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the old Salt Lake Theatre, MIA FESTIVALS this year will include in addition to Road shows and "an Evening at Social Hall"0a new two-act musical drama, written by L. Clair Likes and Albert O. Mitchell. Mit-chell. Matinee performances are set for Friday and Saturday Satur-day at 5 pen?. Tickets are on a reserve basis. They maybe obtained ob-tained by sending check and Teacher Retires After 40 Years Mrs. Evelyn Paxman, veteran veter-an teacher with 40 years' experience, ex-perience, will retire at the end of the school year, according t o Assistant Superintendent Quinn A. Summer Classes Will Start Soon From the survey conducted in April of this year there was found to be sufficient interest for summer school classes in mathematics, English, and Remedial Re-medial Reading to warrant classes being held.. Registra-t'on Registra-t'on and payment of fees will be held at Lincoln Junior High School on Tuesday, May 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30p.m. These classes will commence June 11, and run l&ily for six weeks.
