The couple will greet friends' at a garden reception re-ception following their marriage. The popular couple are students at Orem High School and will graduate this month. BETHROTHAL TOLD Prominent among the social news of the season is the announcement of the engagement engage-ment and forthcoming marriage of Miss Peggy .race to Alan Menlove of Provo. The couple will be wed on the brides birthday, June 8, in the Salt Lake Temple. They will greet friends and relatives at a reception the same evening in the Park LDS Ward Chapel in Provo. Miss Pace is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Pace of Orem. She is a graduate of the LDS Seminary and will graduate from Orem High School this spring. She is an active member of the Girl's Sapere Aude and Thes pian Clubs. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Menlove of Provo. Mr. Menlove was graduated from Provo High School and the LDS Seminary. He is pre sently attending UYU where he is majoring in electrical engineering. 1 1 X v., " ' t SEVENTEENTH WARD TO HAVE GROUND BREAKING The Orem Seventeenth Ward will have Ground Breaking ceremonies for a new chapel at 5:30 p.m. It will be held at the ground site north of the Timpanogos Memorial Gardens. Gar-dens. Concession stands will be open, everyone is cordially invited to attend. Ivie has been announced by parents par-ents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. N. R. Gandy of Century, Fla. Miss Gandy is a graduate of Century High School and is presently employed in Pensacola Fla. Mr. Ivie was graduated from Lincoln High School and the LDS Seminary. Sem-inary. He i3 presently serving with the U. S. Navy at Miramar Naval Base in Calif. No definite wedding plans have been made. Large Number Of Students Receive Seminary Pins The largest gioup of students in Orem Seminary's history met in the Orem Seminary Building recently where they received their Seminary Pin3. In keeping with this Geneva Elementary school "will hold their annual Field Day Friday Each class will participate in the program which will be gin at 9:00 a.m. Lunch will be served immediately after the progrm. The afternoon activities will include ballgames races and other contests. Concessions will be held at 1:30 under the direction of the P.TA. Miss Booth a graduate of Lincoln High School and will graduate from the BYU this1 spring with a degree elementary education. She is teaching school in American Fork. High School. He has recently returned from serving an LDS Mission in the Northern California Califor-nia Mission Field. Upon returning from a honeymoon in Northern California the couple will make their home in Orem. The groom plans to continue his studies at the BYU.
