Kennedy Ken-nedy in a wedding ceremony at the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Nov. 20. The announcement of their engagement was made this week by the parents of the bride-elect, bride-elect, Mr. and Mrs. J. Orlo Allen was in charge of the Civil Defense program pro-gram presented at the regular meeting of the Orem Women's Club and led in a discussion of how our civil defense plan is go ing ahead. Presiding over the meeting was Mrs. Neldon Marshall, president. Mrs. James T. Farley and Mrs. J. D. Pyne were hostesses. The flag salute was led by Mrs Jack Cam eron and the litany read by Mrs. L. B. Bennett. Mrs. Garth Neil-son Neil-son reported on the book review sponsored by the club and Mrs. Kenneth Whitwood gave a legis lative report.- Mrs. Leo Rowley read an original poem. Mrs. Clayton Bishop arranged the musical program which In cluded numbers by Margaret Brough, LaBelle Barry and Sylvia Syl-via Bliss, accompanied by Jamee Norton. Guests at the meeting were Mrs. Marvin E. Sabin, Mrs. Julian Jul-ian Hansen, Mrs. John Busk, Mrs. Bernus Bills, Mrs. Doyle Robert son, Mrs. Samuel . Crosby and Mrs. Vern M. Wood. Mrs. Duane Wilson, the former Judy Taber of Orem CHARLES KOHBOCKS VISIT IN DENVER Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Roh-bock Roh-bock of Rohbock Sons' Floral visited Denver, Colorado during the past week. They were taken through the largest carnation greenhouses in the United States. The went to Denver to attend "The School of Design" where all the latest flower designs were shown to florists. Representatives Representat-ives from 17 states and Canada were in attendance. They were taught by experts from Texas and Salt Lake City. The Rohbocks found time in the crowded schedule to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Dick Wood of San Francisco, where they lived a few years ago. They traveled to and from Denver by train. Wilson Newlyweds Leave for Idaho An October wedding in Elko, TL-vada, united Miss Judy Taber and Duane Wilson. The pair are now making their home in Poca tello, Idaho. The new Mrs. Wilson, a former form-er student of the Lincoln High school, is the daughter of Mrs. Leslie Henderson of Orem, and ; Emmett Taber, U. S. Navy. Her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Wilson of Logan The bride was feted at a num ber of social events before leaving leav-ing for her new home in Idaho. Mrs. LaMar Devey and Mrs. Wil liam Beck entertained at a kltch en shower and a personal shuwer was given by Mrs. Henderson and Mr.s Bruce Totzek as hostesses. Mrs. Tom Larsen of American Fork, sister of the groom, enter tained at a dinner party honoring the couple. ATTEND IDAHO FALLS TEMPLE SESSION Mr. and Mrs. C. I. Moon at tended a session at the Idaho Falls Temple last weekend.
