The vehicle was reportedly parked near the Blacks Fork River. ' An electrical storm passed through the area at about 2;30 p.m. and deputies say all three individuals were - knocked unconscious by the strike. Sgt. Alan, Siddoway of the . Summit County Sheriff's Office, said though the hikers were in a depression, they were at 10,000-foot 10,000-foot elevations in the forest. Siddoway conducted the death investigation and says McCarron's grandmother first regained consciousness and., then revived her husband. After . both people were, unable to " revive their granddaughter, the ' man went for help. He hiked for two hours and was then taken to a ridge where, he made a call for help, on a cellular cel-lular phone. The strike occurred in a rugged area of the forest. " Siddoway said that when Summit County Sheriff's Office deputies and emergency respon-ders respon-ders from Uinta County, Wyoming, arrived on the scene, McCarron was dead and her grandparents were in good condition. con-dition.
