"Hopefully this will be a year-round year-round deal," said Eric Nesset of Park City Transit. "We thought we had it put together a year ago. It had never been run except during the winter in the past." During this past winter the county contracted with Lewis Bros Stages to operate the shuttle. "I think The Canyons paid for most of that," Nesset said. "They were a little surprised with how high the ridership was." The county's contract with Lewis Bros terminated in May, at which time the county partnered with Park City Municipal Transit to keep the shuttle going, he said. "The county assesses businesses business-es along the routes to pay their part," Nesset said. The shuttle operates both directions along State Road 224 between the Old Town Transit Center and the Factory Stores at Kimball Junction. "It leaves the transit center every hour on the hour." Nesset said. There are a number of stops along S R. 224 between the transit center and the outlet stores at Kimball Junction, Nesset said, adding that Kimball Junction businesses on both sides of S.R. 224 are served by the shuttle. The shuttle also serves The Canyons Ski Resort on both inbound and outbound routes, he said. "It goes all the way to the Grand Summit Hotel." Nesset added. Subsidized completely by the partnership between Park City and the county, passengers ride the shuttle for free. Nesset said. Party on the Plaza J! begins June 1 1 ifE One Week Left! "At this point we can't say how he died," said Lieutenant Joe Offret of the Summit County Sheriff's Office. After being notified by friends of ,,. 3Q-year-old TimojJjy, ,11. Keating of (Atlanta, Georgia tnat he had not been seen in several weeks, a search was conducted and a sheriff's K-9 unit discovered discov-ered the victim's body in what appeared to be a camp he was staying in, Offret said. Investigators will probably not receive a determination on the cause of death from the medical examiner until the middle of the week, he said. "At this point we can't say, it takes a while," Offret said. Keating worked at The Canyons last winter as a lift operator oper-ator and some of his friends said he was living in the woods, Offret said. The rapidly decomposing body complicated the initial investigation but officers found no sign of foul play, he said.'
