The Mountain Regional Water Speci.il Service District and the SnvJerville Basin Sewer Improvement District presented a memorandum of understanding discussing the two entities' plan to work closely together with primary pri-mary goals in mind: improving stream flows, water quality and the hydrologic balance tor the Snydcmllc Basin. The districts emphasized, however, how-ever, that their cuncnt agreement dratt, written in conjunction with Mountain Regional Attorney John Ma bey, Jr.. is not binding Mountain Regional, which deals wt:h waier service, proposes in this plan to provide water free of cost to Hush the sewage lines of sewage service provider SBSID That is. as long as Mountain Regional has the water supply to do so.
