Although it contained important and essential operations, its atmosphere was a far cry from what we find with today's fine shops, hotels and restaurants. Instead, there wts the Dexter Livery Stable, J.C. Wheeter Lumber Yard, the Park City Sampler, coal yards, cattle feed yards. Park City Hen, Power & Light Company and the railroad yards of union Pacific and Denver & Rio Grande. Tnere was also a huge ber storage warehouse, located north of the Union Pacific Depot, seen in this rare photograph. With railroad tracks next to t, shipments of beer kegs and bottles ?ould easily be unloaded Into the warehouse for eventual distribution to the mriy saloons on Main Street The wintertime view in the photo Is south, with Union Pacific tracks and the warehouse in tm center, Rossi Hill in the distance on the left and Park Avenue on the right The Union Pacific Depot now Zoom restaurant, restau-rant, was located beyond the warehouse. By 1907, changes had replaced old businesses with new ones like the Summit Lubber Co., Kimball Bros. Livery, the Silver King Coalition Building and two beer storage warehouses.
