Community church school Park City's thriving community Sunday School program is a joint effort by three Protestant churches. Held each Sunday morning at 9 a.m. at the Park City Community Church 402 Park Avenue, the classes consist of people from the Community Com-munity Church, Shepherd of the Mountain Lutheran Church and St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Ranging from preschool ages through adults, the enrollment now exceeds 50, and more students are arriving each Sunday. Sunday School is from 9 until 10 a.m., with worship services at the Park City Community Church (Methodist affiliated) following at 10: 15 a.m. During the worship hour, child care is provided for youngsters of kindergarten and below. (tfn) Counseling for low-income families Because of a recent federal grant, the Park City Family Counseling Institute is offering counseling services to low-income low-income families and single-parent families. Fees are on a sliding scale according to income. The Institute is open from 9 to 5 Monday through Friday and evenings by appointment. They are anxious for new members. Anyone over 55 years of age is eligible. The Park City Library has cassette tapes with recorded instructions on how to fill out both the short Form 1040A, 1040EZ and the longer Form 1040, along with Schedules A and B. These tapes, prepared by the Internal Revenue Service, can be checked out just like a book and played at home on any standard cassette tape player. There is even a provision for stopping the tape at convenient points to finish working on a section of the form. Persons using these cassette tapes should have their tax forms and instructions available so that they can work right along with the tape. Family planning Lamplighter is open The Lamplighter is sponsored by Park City's Ecumenical Council to provide an alternative place of entertainment. It will be a casual atmosphere of live entertainment, serving coffees, teas, hot chocolate and cider. The old library on Main Street will be the location for the Lamplighter on Friday and Saturday evenings from 7 to 11 p.m. Anyone interested in performing please contact any clergy, or specifically Ben Clark ai 649-8084. (tfn) The Park City Community Clinic, a nonprofit family planning plan-ning program, will be holding clinics during February. Appointments Ap-pointments are available for morning, afternoon and evening clinics. The services offered include physical exams, PAP tests, counseling and education, VD screening, pregnancy testing and contraceptive supplies. Costs for these services are reasonable. In Tprp i Childbirth preparation The Summit County Health Department will begin its childbirth preparation classes in Park City Wednesday, March 2, and run through April 13. The class includes a seven-week series and also shorter "refresher" series are offered of-fered which include breathing, manual, and birth movies. Cost is $20couple or a sliding fee scale.
