It is the story of the three kings who follow the star to the newborn Christ child and stop for shelter at the dwelling of a poor woman and her crippled son, Amahl. Menotti's beloved Christmas miracle was inspired by a remembrance of his child hood as he and his brother waited for the three kings. Also, it is recorded that Menotti had a lame leg that was cured after a visit to a shrine. The cast for "Amahl" includes Darin Gates as Amahl, Laura Garff as the mother, King Balthazar sung by William Goeglein, King Melchior sung by Don Becker, Beck-er, King Kasper sung by Dave Arnold, and Noel Twitchell as the page. Tickets are $4 for adult members of Park City Performances Per-formances and $5 for non-members; non-members; $2 for children under 12 who belong to PCP ($3 for non-members), and $3 for senior citizens.
