ORDINANCE Ordinance No. 9-20-79 (2) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 9-20-79, AN ORDINANCE OR-DINANCE DEFINING AND REGULATING SUBDIVISIONS SUBDIVI-SIONS - PLAT SIZE. WHEREAS, the City of Park City endeavors to abide by the laws of the State and County, and, WHEREAS, the County of Summit, Utah, has officially of-ficially changed the size of the approved tracing linen, accepted for filing by the Summit County Recorder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PARK CITY, UTAH: Section 1( Amend Section Sec-tion 2.7.3A to read as follows: The final plat shall consist con-sist of a sheet of approved tracing linen to the outside out-side or trim line dimensions dimen-sions of 24 Inches by 36 inches and the border line of the plat shall be drawn in heavy lines leaving a space of at least one and one-half Inches on the left side and at least one-half Inch margin on other sides. The plat shall be so drawn that the top of the drawing faces either North or West, whichever accommodates ac-commodates the drawing best. All lines, dimensions and markings shall be made on the tracing linen with approved waterproof black "India Drawing Ink." Local art show The Recreation Department, in conjunction with the Uinta Artist's Co-op, will sponsor a local artist's show on July 23, 24 and 25. We would like to invite all local Park City artists to join in and participate. Any art form is welcome in the exhibit. The only requirements are that you be from the surrounding area, and that no novelty crafts be entered. This leaves the exhibit open to many different forms of art. Make change at Festival Change personnel for Arts Festival buses are needed for the Twelfth annual Park City Arts Festival, Aug. 1 and 2. Park City students from seventh through twelfth grade are invited to apply for these positions, which will pay $2.50 an hour. Seniors' rummage sale The Park City Senior Citizens are planning a Rummage Sale for Saturday, August 15. ORDINANCE Ordinance No. 81-7 AN ORDINANCE DECLARING DE-CLARING A MORATORIUM MORATOR-IUM TO BE PLACED ON THE CONVERSION TO OR THE DEVELOPMENT OF TIME-SHARE PROJECTS PRO-JECTS IN ANY ZONE WITHIN THE CITY OF PARK CITY, UTAH. WHEREAS, the "time-share" "time-share" concept is a transient tran-sient type of activity and has no local control under the City's current ordinances, ordinan-ces, and WHEREAS, a study is needed to determine the compatibility of this concept con-cept with the City's existing residential zoning classifications to insure protection of the public health, safety and welfare, and WHEREAS, the potential poten-tial Impact of time-share projects on the City of Park City indicates a clear and convincing need for restrictions and regulatory measures, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Park City: Section 1: Moratorium. A six month moratorium is hereby established to allow the City time to develop ordinances to regulate time-share activities ac-tivities in Park City. Section 2: Zones Prohibiting Time-Share Projects. During the six month moratorium, time-share time-share projects shall not be a permitted use in any zone within Park City. Section 3: Conversions and New Construction. During the six month moratorium, neither applications ap-plications for conversions, except as provided in Section Sec-tion 5 hereof, existing projects, nor the construction construc-tion of new time-share projects shall be considered con-sidered by the City. Section 4: Definition. Time-share projects shall include those projects containing time period units, as defined in Section Sec-tion 57-8-3(20), Utah Code Annotated, encompassing annually recurring parts of a year as a period for which a physical unit is separately owned. This definition is to include in-clude any projects organized as undivided ownerships, limited partnerships part-nerships or other forms of ownership that is created to achieve ownership owner-ship of a time period use of a physical unit directly or indirectly, whether or not such ownership is within the scope of Section Sec-tion 57-8-3(20), Utah Code Annotated. This definition is to include in-clude time-share estates, interval ownership, vacation license and vacation lease, club memberships, mem-berships, time-share use and all other such terminology, ter-minology, typically applied ap-plied to time-sharing in the State of Utah and elsewhere in the United States. Section 5: Exception. This ordinance shall not affect time-share projects for which units have been lawfully sold or offered for sale to the public, at the date of adoption of this ordinance. Section 6: Effective Period. This ordinance shall remain in effect for a period of six months from the date of adoption, unless sooner repealed or otherwise modified and subject to any extension of the time period as approved ap-proved by the City Council.
