Funeral Services ' Held Saturday for Viola Young Fugal Funeral servlcta, honoring the memories of Viola Young Fugal, were conducted Saturday, Satur-day, October 30 at 1:00 p.m. in the Third-Sixth Ward Chapel under the direction of Bishop Carl Rlngger of the LDS Third Ward. Bishop IUngger also gave brief remarks of solace and consolation. Mrs. Fugal died October in the American Fork hospital after af-ter a brief illness. She was 77 years of age. Speakers, who told of the long and useful life of the deceased were Parley Christiansen and President Alma P. Burton. A life sketch was read by David Holdaway. A duet "Hold Thou My Hand" was sung by President Elwood Alleik&nd Lydia Hilton, accom-panied1yJanice accom-panied1yJanice Allen, Janlel Fugal Olsert-jplayed an organ solo and' Nancy Ekins sang "That Wonderful Mother of Mine," accompanied by Marine Fugal. Judy West Brown played play-ed the prelude and postlude. Family prayer was led by Grant K. Fugal, Neil Y. Fugal asked the invocation and benediction bene-diction . was pronounced by Elwood L Sundberg. The grave in Pleasant Grove City Cemetery Ceme-tery was dedicated by President Presi-dent Body L. Fugal. Pallbearers were Daniel Fugal, Fu-gal, Melvin Gooch, Thomas Giles, Steven Holdaway, Douglas Doug-las Turner and Ben West. Flowers were cared for by the Third Ward Relief Society. Jimp Chapter of Utah Music Teachers Hold Meetings Here The Tlmpanogos Chapter of the Utah Music Teachers Association, As-sociation, consisting of teachers from Pleasant Grove, American Ameri-can Fork and Lchi areas held their last two meetings at the home of Nelda Rawlins on. A very interesting and informative in-formative meeting was held with Alpha Bolton and Beulah Ford, from the state organization organiza-tion attending. They gave instructions on private lessons and teaching. Rachel Howard of Provo, spoke at the second meeting, and gave student demonstrations demonstra-tions relative to group teaching of theory. Much was gained by those In attendance. The officers of the Tlmpanogos Tlmpanog-os Chapter are Nora Larson, President; La Verla Makin, vice president, Anne Olsen secretary secre-tary and treasurer and Nelda Rawlinson representative to the state organization. Accumeneites Hold Meeting Thursday With Their Husbands Members and their husbands of the Acumenettes Club met at the home of Joan Robinson on Thursday evening, October 28, appearing in weird costumes, for their annual Halloween party. Couples were identified (or tried to) by the other couples, and prizes were awarded for the best costumes. Winners were Marilyn Howe, Byron Carter, Elwood and Nelda Foote. After the unmasking a delicious delic-ious luncheon was served by the host and hostess.
