In fact, there was little change for the entire seven-day period, ending at 6 p.m. Monday, Mon-day, Nov. 1. Daytime temperatures were all in the low 70s, with a spread of only 4 degrees. At night there was even less variation, 30 to 32 degrees, a spread of 2. It was a dry period, but consistent. con-sistent. Not even a trace of rain or snow fell over Utah during dur-ing the 7-day period "and the skies were not cloudy all day." , The most marked change noted not-ed lately is the shortening of the daylight hours. Old Sol is hurrying on his annual journey south. He has only 47 days left in order to reach his southern destination. This reminds us all that there are only 44 shopping days left before Christmas.
