An icon in inspirational music, recording artist Kenneth Cope has released his latest album, "All About You," a collection of contemporary con-temporary songs filled with meaning for every day of the week. Although most people know Cope for his softer, Sabbath-appropriate inspirational in-spirational LDS music, he actually began his career creating upbeat music for the youth of the LDS faith. "AU About You" is a return to that early mission with songs that convey Cope's unique outlook on how contemporary-Christian music enhances weekday worship and gospel living beyond Sunday. In a recent interview with BYU's Daily Universe, Uni-verse, Cope said, "We have plenty of inspirational inspiration-al music for Sunday, but we don't have a whole lot for the rest of the week. For this album, I wanted to make music that could help propel people through their week. Our religion goes beyond the Sabbath, beyond when you reach for the scriptures, beyond when we kneel and pray. It should be how to get through the day, how to go to work or go to school, and how to take God with you on that journey." Recognizing Cope's achievements, the Faith Centered Music Association (FCMA) has awarded him SPiHHLLE IliGII SCHOOL JLEiS if BBS ill mis KIM June 14, 2008 6:00 p.m. Springville High School Tickets: $25 per person or $50 per couple Make checks payable to SHS Class of 1983 Checks can be mailed to Doug Wing, P.O.
