The campground is not included with a pavilion pavil-ion rental and is open April through October, weather permitting. Canyon parks have several sev-eral picnic sites and common com-mon areas that are available avail-able for everyone to use. However, these areas do not include pavilion areas or campsites. Jolley's Ranch has the Bear's Picnic Area which is dedicated to picnicking. All picnic areas and common com-mon areas are day use only areas and must be vacated by dark. City, County and State Codes prohibit the consumption con-sumption of alcoholic beverages bev-erages in any public park. If you plan to drink alcohol it is suggested you do not use the canyon parks and not have alcohol in your possession while within the boundaries of the parks. Violators Vi-olators of Utah State Code 32 A-12-220 can be subject to prosecution by the Utah County Sheriff. Violations of alcohol rules can result in expulsion from the canyon can-yon parks and may be referred re-ferred to the County Sheriff Sher-iff for enforcement. Reservation Rules Reservations are being taken at the Springville Community Services Office Of-fice located at 443 S. 200 East during business hours. All reservations must be paid in full when made. No pavilions will be held as reserved re-served without payment. When a reservation is made, the person making the reservation accepts full responsibility 'for their group and their group's activities. The responsible party accepts responsibili ty for notification of dates, times and all park rules as well as financial responsibility responsi-bility for any damage as a result of hisher group's activities. Reservations may be cancelled at any time. If a reservation is cancelled at least three weeks prior to the reservation date, a 90 refund will be given. Cancellations Can-cellations received without at least three weeks notice will receive no refund. All pavilion areas are reservation areas. All pavilion pa-vilion use will require a paid reservation. Groups that show without a reservation res-ervation may pay canyon parks full-time staff for use of a pavilion only if the pavilion has not already been reserved. Pavilion reservations are limited o three consecutive con-secutive days. Extended reservations are not allowed, al-lowed, and groups are not allowed to move to different differ-ent pavilions during their reservations or to extend their reservation length. Canyon parks staff or the reservation secretary may choose to leave an open day between reservations reserva-tions to allow for watering, maintenance and recovery of the grass and plants. Each pavilion has a limited lim-ited group size. Large size groups will not be allowed to reserve an area that will not accommodate them. Large groups may reserve more than one pavilion for their use within the three-day three-day limit. Some pavilions are designated des-ignated as day use only areas. Such pavilions may not be reserved or used for overnight activities. Groups must stay within the size limits of the pavilion. pavil-ion. The choirs and orchestra will perform "Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "Five Hebrew Love Songs." The choirs will also perform per-form some festival pieces and Gilbert and Sullivan favorites, including "Three Little Maids From School" and "When I Was a Lad." Z , The Springville High orchestras or-chestras are directed by Dr. Samuel Tsugawa. Assistant As-sistant directors for the choirs are Karen Thueson and Rachel McCune. Alex Oldroyd, an SHS graduate, will accompany the choirs on organ and piano. Kjersti Jones will be featured on the violin. ... Due to costs associated with obtaining orchestrations orchestra-tions and renting the performance per-formance space, there will be a small ticket charge for admission. Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for children, chil-dren, students and seniors. Those wishing to make additional ad-ditional donations to support sup-port the music programs of SHS may do so at the door. a.m. for overnight use. Lights in the pavilion come on and off with a timer. Pavilion users may use associated parking areas. ar-eas. Users may not park or drive on grass areas at any time. Users should not park or camp in any area designated for general use or use by other pavilion groups. The pavilion will be cleaned before a reservation reserva-tion arrives. The restrooms will be cleaned once daily. Pavilion groups are encouraged en-couraged to clean the area before they vacate. Please bring your own trash bags. Leave your trash in the dumpster by your pavilion or carry it out with you. ' If you wish to use the volleyball poles you must bring your own net and ball. If you want to play horseshoes, br ng your own horseshoes to play at the horseshoe pit. Campground Use Campsites are fee areas and must be paid before a campsite is occupied. Camping fees will be collected by a camp host or canyon parks full-time staff. Campsites must be occupied oc-cupied at all times that they are in use. Occupation Occupa-tion means that a vehicle, RV or tent is present in the site. Other items do not designate occupation. Any person occupying a campsite is subject to camping fees. Camping limit is seven days. After seven days, campers must vacate the canyon parks for at least seven days.
