Show Thursday. January ,2007 Harold Clark Johnson Harold Clark Johnson passed away on January Janu-ary 6, 2007 in Springville, Utah. He was born January 23, 1918 to Willis Kelsey Johnson and Eva Clark in Springville. Harold graduated gradu-ated from Springville High School and later attended Utah State University. He married Pauline Ler-will Ler-will on April 28, 1945, their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Tem-ple on October 13, 1950. Harold served five years in the US Air Force with the 7th Bomber Group achieving the rank of Master Mas-ter Sergeant during WWII in the China, Burma and India Campaign. He enjoyed en-joyed carpentry and spent his working years as a contractor. Harold served as a Stake Missionary and also as Stake Mission President. Pres-ident. Dad had a great fondness and love for nature. As a family we enjoyed his wonderful won-derful sense of humor and musical talents. He is survived by his wife, Pauline; children: Carolyn Car-olyn (Mike) Taylor, Springville; Spring-ville; Suanne (Blake) Bird, St. George; Cathy Hurst, Las Vegas, NV; Sherry (Jeff) Seamons, Provo; Julie (Dean) Miller, Huntington; John (Lara) Johnson, Provo; Pro-vo; 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. He was reunited with his Mildred Miller Ratos Mildred Miller Ratos, 84, of Springville, Utah, passed away Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007. She was born December De-cember 17, 1922 in Springville Spring-ville to James Jesse and Essie Es-sie Cherrington Miller. She attended school in Springville Spring-ville and Roosevelt, Utah. Mildred married James D. Ratos Sr. on September 22, 1945. Mildred was an active member of the Provo Congregation Con-gregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed teaching bible truths to interested ones. She especially espe-cially enjoyed being with her family and friends. She loved her husband, children chil-dren and grandchildren very much. Mildred is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, James Sr.; son, James Ratos Jr. of Springville; Spring-ville; three daughters: Diane Di-ane (Jesse) Davis of Mt. Pleasant; Christine (Bruce) Morrison of Springville; Catherine (Kevin) Titcomb of Mapleton; 10 grandchildren grand-children and four greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. She was born August 2, 1929 in Springville to Charles Leonard Whiting and Olive Rachel Carleton Whiting. She was the 9th of 10 children. She married Lloyd Charles Andersen July 19, 1948 in Idaho and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, June 23, 1952. Together they had five children: Ann Louise Andersen, An-dersen, Rae Ellen (Larry) Banks, Lou Merrilyn (Dennis) (Den-nis) Bollschweiler, Sue Alaine (Michael) Woolsten-hulme, Woolsten-hulme, and Charles Mark (Pandy) Andersen. During their married life they lived in Idaho and Utah. She retired re-tired from Brigham Young University after 30 years of service in the audiovisual audiovi-sual department. She loved the outdoors and especially loved her family and pioneer heritage. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Gerald Dean Broderick was born January 17, 1931 in Salina, Utah, to Alfred Leonard and Virgie Searle Broderick. He grew up in Delta and Eureka. He loved playing basketball, and graduated from Tintic High School. Dean served honorably for four years in the US Navy on the USS Boxer during the Korean War. Upon returning, he went to work for Mountain Bell, working there from 1957 to 1983. There he met and married the love of his life, Janice Ogden, on September Septem-ber 2$ 1957. in Marysvale. They have three children: Michael (Kim) Broderick, Oregon; Sandra (Bruce) Rees, Mapleton; and Sher-rie Sher-rie (DeeMar) Callister, Mona; and a special son, Brandon Henrie of North Carolina. He has 15 grandchildren grand-children and 10 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a sister, Maggie Kay. Dean loved to hunt, fish, play and watch all sports. He loved most of all spending spend-ing time with his family. He was the best dad and the very best grandpa anyone any-one could ever ask for. He was proceeded in Billie Darleen Clark Facer Billie Darleen Clark Facer, Fac-er, 70, died Jan 1, 2007 after suffering with Alzheimer's for many years. She was born Aug 7, 1936 in Springville, Spring-ville, Utah, to Frank Huntington Hun-tington and Afton Madsen Clark. She was the youngest young-est of four children. She married Reed Holbrook Facer on April 16, 1955 in Las Vegas, NV. Their marriage mar-riage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on November 16, 1955. They have five children. Darleen, as she was known as an adult, was an active member of the LDS church. She served in many callings in Relief Society, So-ciety, Young Women, Primary Pri-mary and Sunday school. She loved quilting, needlepoint, needle-point, music, reading and tole painting. Most of all she loved her husband and family. She and Reed worked together as church custodians for a time.
