We are 7th, 8th and 9th graders. We plan to write articles about what's going on at the Jr. High School. Our journalism class recycles re-cycles papers so that we can pay for our cameras and publications. We are excited that we get to help with the Springville Herald newspaper. Everyone has their own reason for being in the journalism class. One of the students said one of the reasons they came to this class is to learn how to write newspaper style. We love to write, read and want to write awesome awe-some things about what's going on at Springville Jr. High. I wondered why our dances had to be separated. Why can't they be combined? We have them at the same time, so why not? Most of us think it is a good idea, along with Mrs. Crahdall, a teacher here at Springville Junior High. She has been fighting and trying to persuade the administration ad-ministration to do it. The point of dances is to become more social and make more friends. That would be so much easier if we had a whole other school with us. I interviewed Mrs. Cran-dall Cran-dall to see how her campaign cam-paign was coming along. She said, "Hopefully if the dances are ever combined, it probably won't happen until next year." We are all grateful for Mrs. Crandall and her fight for the school dances, and we will be hoping it happens hap-pens next year.
