She was born August 29, 1926, the daughter of Parley and Hulda Johnson. She married Edwin LaMar Bird, who is deceased. She then married John O. Titus. They will also celebrate his 89th birthday. Nola is the mother of nine children, three stepchildren, stepchil-dren, 46 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren. All friends, associates and relatives are invited to celebrate with her on Saturday, Sat-urday, Aug. 26, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Senior Center, 167 W. Center Street, Spanish Span-ish Fork. Titus was born in the little town of Camar-go Camar-go in Northwestern Oklahoma Okla-homa on August 4, 1917. - He and his family moved to Utah in 1946. He is one of a very few still living who received "commando" "com-mando" training in Scotland Scot-land to form the U.S. 1st Ranger Battalion in WW n. He was married to Ma-daline Ma-daline Ferris for 57 years. She is deceased. He then married Nola Bird. John is the father of one and four foster children, chil-dren, nine stepchildren, 46 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren. They will be celebrating 1 Que i ; I ; , v -.V- ! r Grammy Award Winner Crystal Gaple at SCERA ' The first female country artist to reach platinum status for album sales will entertain at the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre in Orem on Labor Day, Sept. 4 at 8 p.m. Crystal Gayle, a singer with almost three dozen hit records, will appear on stage with a signature voice that is almost as unique as her long cascade of hair. John & Nola Titus Arlene Antonino of Ma-pleton, Ma-pleton, Utah, is celebrating celebrat-ing her eightieth birthdaty today, Thursday, Aug. 24, 2006. On August 12th, her family celebrated with her and some close friends at a party at her home in Maple-ton. Maple-ton. A great time was had by all. Her family says, " Happy Birthday Mom!" . Arlene married Neno An-toniino An-toniino on April 30, 1947. They will celebrate sixty years together next year. They have six children: Vickie Orton, Gary, Paul and Brent Antonino, Cindy Pool and Judy Ferguson. They have 21 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. Arlene Antonino Five Browns to give free fireside at SCERA The renowned quintet of classical pianists known as The 5 Browns will perform per-form a free inspirational fireside under the stars at the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre in Orem on Sunday, Sun-day, Sept. 3, at 7, p.m. No tickets or reservations reserva-tions are required, and SCERA will provide their rental chairs first-come first-serve at no charge, and patrons are also welcome wel-come to bring blankets for seating on the grassy hill. Seating is general admission, ad-mission, and the gates will open at 6:30 p.m. The Shell is located in the middle of Orem's SCERA Park, at 699 S. State Street. The Juilliard-trained musicians, mu-sicians, who have a yearlong year-long tour schedule nationally nation-ally and internationally, like to give musical firesides fire-sides as a way of giving back to communities. The siblings are five twenty-something "regular" "regu-lar" kids from Utah who become sensations when they sit at their pianos and show the talents that qualify each as a virtuoso pianist. The New York post recognized them by saying, "One family, five pianos and 50 fingers add up to the biggest classical music sensation in years." Their self -titled first recording for RCA Red Seal rose to the top of the weekly billboard charts in 2005, and they have just released a new album, "No Boundaries." , . Although each could perform solo, their decision deci-sion to present themselves as a unique quintet of classical clas-sical artists has prompted great interest. They have been seen on such shows as "Oprah," "60 Minutes," "Good Morning America" Amer-ica" and "The Tonight Show." People Magazine dubbed Ryan, 20, Melody, 21, Gregory, 23, Deon-dra, Deon-dra, 25 and Desirae, 27 as "The Fab Five." Because of their fresh energy and unique sound, they have "Heart Rock", photograph by Dr. Richard Stone of Provo, is part of a larger exhibit of Stone's photos of Alaska now on display in The Gallery at the Utah County Health and Justice building. The Gallery is in the Utah County Coun-ty Health and Justice Building, at 151 S. University Ave., Provo. The exhibit is open Mon.-Fri. 8 to 5, and is free to the public.
