SPRINGVILLE .HERALD . , , , . , , Jessica Rasmussen, Robert Fuhriman to marry April 15 Layne and Christine Rasmussen of Spanish Span-ish Fork, Utah, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Lynn, to Robert Glenn Fuhriman, son of Robert and Suzanne Fuhriman, also of Spanish Fork. Robert and Jessica have chosen cho-sen to be married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Saturday, Apr. 15, 2006. Grandparents of the bride are Vaughan and Linda Erickson of Springville and Gary and Carma Rasmussen of Mapleton. Great-grandparents Great-grandparents of the bride are Richard and Elma Erickson of Salt Lake City. Grandparents of the groom are Glenn and Myrtle Hammer of Ontario, Oregon, and Bryce Fuhriman, also of Oregon. Jessica graduated from home school in the spring of 2005 and graduated from Real Estate School in November 2005. Robert graduated from Mountain View Ninety years for Herb Miner Herb Miner will celebrate his ninetieth birthday Sunday, Sun-day, Apr. 16, 2006. He was born April 16, 1916 in Springville, Utah, to Thorn Chase and Selling Kershaw Miner. Herb spent his early years in Springville, and the age of 12 his family moved to Pennsylvania. Penn-sylvania. He married Thelma Smith in 1939, and they moved back to Utah were he has resided since. His wife, Thelma, passed away in 1997. He is the father of five children. chil-dren. His family wish him all the best for bis birthday and want him to know how much they love him. They will celebrate cele-brate with a family dinner. Well-wishers are invited to call or drop Herb a card. Angus Hales celebrates 95 years Angus Hales will celebrate his 95th birthday on income tax day-Saturday, Apr. 15. Angus was born in Spanish Fork to George and Eliza Brockbank Hales. His twin sister, Agnes, was delivered first, so Angus was always the baby of the family. After two years of college at BYU, he took over the family farm, and he's been involved since then as a stockman and in crop production. He still enjoys en-joys getting behind the wheel of a tractor on the farm. Angus married his sweetheart, sweet-heart, Fawn Cowan, from Payson, on June 30, 1933 in the Salt Lake Temple. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Edmonton, Canada, from 2002-04.
