The Devils played hard and tried their best, but it wasn't enough. The game was close in the first half, but due to a few mental mistakes like a bad long snap by Tyler Allred, which put the mustangs mus-tangs on the 5-yard line, the Mustangs beat the Devils 39 to 17. The Devils were also missing miss-ing one of their best receivers, re-ceivers, BJ Smith, because of an ejection in a prior game against Box Elder. This season has been a great season for the Springville Red Devils. The Devils went 04 in the preseason, presea-son, and were picked to finish fin-ish last in region, but we finished fin-ished third with three wins and two losses. The Red Devils Dev-ils also won the first round of the playoffs, which hasn't been done for SEVEN years. Coach Bills has gone far with his team and has done an awesome job despite many distractions. This season sea-son has had its ups and its downs, but it has been very exciting overall. When asked about the season, sea-son, Macall Radford replied, "I went to all of the games and I was happy to see our season take a turn for the best. I think we would have won the game against Mountain Moun-tain Crest if we had just scored more points than them." Here at Springville High School, we are grateful for Coach Bills and all of his coaching staff, and for our many dedicated players. We would like to extend our appreciation ap-preciation .for their hard work in making this a great season for the SHS Red Devils. The success of next year's team will depend on how fast the players can' develop. The thing that this year's Lady Red Devil's team should be remembered for is the way that when they were' down, they were never out, and they always found a way to come back and make believers out of everybody who doubted them. Les Mis el, "Les Miserables," the school edition introduces a new generation to the grand and inspirational story that has touched the hearts of mil lions. For, within "Les Miserables" Miser-ables" lies the universal truth "To love another person is to; see the face of God" and this message is sure to have a lasting impact. The show is best suited for mature audiences. Pacific Horizon REDIT UNION 96 E. Center 'Springville 489-3603 FOR ALL OF YOUR BANKING NEEDS! Jkl 4ft I lfe.-.V..v." PA i lira PI main fS -i .iM..J |
