Kamron Spencer Crandall, son of Louis and Lisa Crandall of Maple-ton, Maple-ton, has been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Independence, In-dependence, Missouri, He will speak in church on Sunday, Nov. 13, at 9 a.m in the red brick 7th Ward, 1200 N. 1000 West, in Mapleton. Michael K. Anderson, son of Dave and Kathy Anderson of Springville, has returned home after serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Charleston, West Virginia. He will speak in his new ward, the Spring Creek Sixth Ward, 200 North and 900 East Springville, on Sun., Nov. 13, 2005 at 1 p.m. Brad Snelson, son of Mike and Jackie Snelson of Springville, has returned home after servng a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Atlanta, At-lanta, Georgia, Spanish speaking. J. Norman and Lois Graves of Springville, have been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Nauvoo, Illinois. They will speak in church on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005 at 9 a.m. in the Hobble Creek 10th Ward, 495 S. Canyon Road, Springville. They will enter the MTC November 14. "V" is for vest is what Mrs. Sabey's afternoon kindergarten class learned about on Friday, Nov. 4. And what a better idea to celebrate it then to wear a vest to school. Students sported many different vests like cowboy vests, fishing vests and even sparkley vests. Kindergarten loves the letter "V." Written by Matthew Vaughan, 5th grade. Janet Riley will preach at the Springville Community Presbyterian Presby-terian Church. Her sermon title is "Living as Children of the Light", with scripture from 1 Thes. 5:1-14. Sunday School begins be-gins at 9:30 a.m., Worship Service Ser-vice is at 10:30 and Fellowship Hour at 11:30. The church is located lo-cated at 245 S. 200 East in Springville. The day started with the Halloween Parade where students marched through the classrooms showing off their costumes. The parents waited at the end. Following the parade the little kiddies got to go from classroom to classroom playing games and winning prizes. One of the games was the traditional pop bottle Halloween Walk where they could win a decorated pop bottle as a prize. There was also a spook alley. The children chil-dren lined the hallway to enter the library that was filled with dim lights, spooks and chills.
