She is a member of the Hobble Creek West Sixth Ward. Her projects were to plant a vegetable garden, memorize the words of ten hymns, improve im-prove her piano skills, study the Word of Wisdom and seek to live it fully, use language that uplifts and encourages, to spend quality quali-ty time with family to improve im-prove family friendships and relationships and to keep her commitments in her callings. Josh Salisbury, son of Paul Salisbury and Machelle Suyak, has been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ in Hong Kong, China. He will speak in church on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. in the church at 840 S. 400 East, Springville. I , o vHi A X TV x : i Erin Snelson, daughter of Mike and Jackie Snelson and granddaughter of Ralph and Janet Snelson and Blaine and Karma Hadley, received her Young Womanhood Recognition Award on Dec. 7, 2003 in the Hobble Creek West Sixth Ward. Her-projects included memorizing "The Living Christ," playing in her first piano recital, helping make dinners, crocheting baby hats to donate to the Humanitarian Center and participating with the Springville Youth City Council. In ancient China, the military attached bamboo pipes to kites. As the kites flew over the enemy, wind passed through the pipes, resulting in a whistling sound that caused the enemy troops to panic and flee. Kevin Holley, son of Paul and Linda Holley of Maple-ton, Maple-ton, has been called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ in Lansing, Michigan.
