Jeffrey Cole Bailey, son of Jeff and Natalie Bailey of Springville, celebrated his first birthday Nov. 17, 2003. His grandparents are Steven and Tammy Oakey of Springville and Fred and Karen Bailey of Sulphur, Oklahoma. Great-grandparents are Jane Averett of Springville, and Ben and Virginia Rice and Jack and Geraldine Bailey, all of Oklahoma. f !S J- - - ' I Karen Grover and Robert Cronk are pleased to announce that they eloped to the Manti LDS Temple on Saturday, November 1, 2003. Karen is the daughter of Robert and Mary Grover of Springville, Utah. Robert is the son of Nicholas and Karalynn Cronk, also of Springville. They both are graduates of Springville High School. Robert graduated from DeVry Institute of Technology and served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chile. The couple are living in Springville. Melissa Winnie, Weston Marshall to trade vows Ben and Lisa Winnie of Alpine, Utah are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Melissa, to Weston Marshall, son of Alan and Sherri Houtz of Mapleton and Scott Marshall of St. George on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003. Chappell and Ronni Bateman will be married on Saturday, November 22, 2003. Ronni is the daughter of Rob and Candy Bateman of Eagle Mountain. She graduated from Lehi High School and attends Salt Lake Community College with a major in interior design. The featured piece, is written by Bach, "Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott," similar to the Lutheran chorale, "A Mighty Fortress is Our God." The piece showcases four solo parts, performed by Carol Allred, Anna Braith-waite, Braith-waite, brent Braithwaite and Robert Brandt. The concert also includes a cappella pieces. VlWIJ ile Creek Bam Janet and Ralph Snelson Snelson fiftieth Ralph and Janet Snelson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Monday, Nov. 24, 2003. They were married in the Manti LDS Temple in 1953. They have four sons, Michael (Jackie), Richard (Christine), (Chris-tine), David (Laurie), Douglas (Gayla), and 17 grandchildren: grandchil-dren: Eric, Brad, Erin, Jeffery, Tyson, Jamie, Colby, Joshua, Kelli, Jenny, Katie, Alex, Makenna, Holly, Saman-tha, Saman-tha, Mitchell and Jonathan. Ralph taught math at Springville Junior High for 30 years. He and Janet established Snelson Photocolor Lab in 1973. A family celebration in honor of the event was held earlier this summer. - i i Eunice and Gilbert and Eunice Ferran are celebrating their fiftieth anniversary today, Nov. 20, 2003. They were married Nov., 20, 1953 in Provo. Their children, Greg, Roland, Dora, Georgia and Adam congratulate their parents saying, "Thanks for everything.. every-thing.. maybe another 50 years?" They also send their love. The Ferrans are retired but still keep busy fishing and taking trips to Wendover. They do work part-time for Varsity Cleaners and at IHC Clinic in North Orem.
