Balzotti of Springville, Utah, of the engagement of their daughter, Alyssa, to Sean Coberly, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Clark Coberly of Siera Madre, California. The couple plans to be married on Saturday, August 3, 2002, in the Manti IDS Temple. A reception will be held that evening at the Balzotti home. Alyssa graduated from Springville High School and is attending the University of Utah. Sean graduated from Pasadena High School , where he was student body president. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is also attending the University Uni-versity of Utah. The newlyweds will make their home in Salt Lake City. Rachel Lee, Nathan Orme to marry Friday Announcement is made by Benjamin and Rebecca Re-becca Lee of Tacoma, Washington, of the engage-wment engage-wment of their daughter, Rachel, to Nathan Orme, son of Willliam and Susan Orme of Springville, Spr-ingville, Utah. The couple plans to be married on Friday, August 2, 2002, in Provo. A reception will be held in their honor that same evening. The newlyweds will make their home in Orem where both plan to attend Utah Valley State College in the fall. Cynthia Smith, Brian Langford to trade vows Brian Langford will marry Cynthia Smith on Friday, Aug. 2, 2002, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A garden reception will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the home of the groom's parents, located at 241 N. 210 East, Mapleton. Friends and family are invited to attend. Brian graduated with high honors from Springville Spring-ville High School and LDS Seminary. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ in New York City, Spanish speaking. She is a senior studying vocal performance perfor-mance at Brigham Young University. Israel graduated from Hunter High School in WestValley. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He majored in music and graphic design at BYU and is currently working for Category Five Technologies Technolo-gies in Salt Lake. The couple will make their home in American Fork. Jamie Marchbanks, Matt Spurgeon to marry in temple Kim and Julie Marchbanks of Springville, Utah, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Lynn, to Matthew Charles Spurgeon, Spur-geon, son of John and Elaine Spurgeon of Glen-dora, Glen-dora, California. The couple plans to be married on Saturday, August 3, 2002, in the Mt. Timpan-ogos Timpan-ogos LDS Temple. He graduated from the American Institute of Dental Laboratory and received his bachelors degree from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., with a degree in business administration. Anyone interested in the theater arts is invited to a meeting on Thursday, Aug. 1, at 7 p.m. at the Villa Playhouse,' 254 S. Main, Springville, Spring-ville, to organize the guild. Sponsored initially by the VIP ARTS organization, the guild will operate under the leadership of Betty Lee, current treasurer and trustee. Holding a Ph.D. degree from Brigham Young University in theater criticism, Lee joined the Villa organization in 1999 after working for several years in both New York and Utah County in performing' arts. The guild will operate under its own bylaws and elected officers. offi-cers. Its president will serve as a trustee on the VIP ARTS board.
