Show Page Six - The Springville Herald - January 17, 1996 SPORTS SHS wrestling The Springville High School Devil Wrestling Squad returned from the Pineview tourney with a renewed conviction to get in better shape and turn up their intensity level as they prepare for the final half of the season. They traveled to St. George to a 16-. team tourney that is one of the toughest tournaments that they face this year. At this tourney there were several state champions champi-ons from Arizona, Nevada and Utah. SHS had four grapplers that placed. They were Trevor Nielsen, Niel-sen, who placed second, Wyatt Everett, Peter Rabnor and Ty Dennis all placed fourth. Three were several other matmen that should have placed that made little mistakes that at this level of competition cost them the match. This Wednesday SHS travels to Payson for a region dual meet. This week's sponsor of the Wrestler Wres-tler of the Week is Hardees. They are very supportive of Springville athletics, and we thank them for their help. This week's Varsity Wrestler of the Week is again Trevor Nielsen who placed second in the Pineview Tourney. Trevor is one of the team captains, and he is a fantastic competitor with great . skills. This week's JV Wrestler of the Week is Dean Nielson. He traveled to the tourney and went undefeated.
