She was born Nov. 25, 1929 in Washington, a daughter of Harvey A. and Vida Thaync Whitney. Whit-ney. She married I.e-Grande I.e-Grande E. Bunker June 30, 194S in Springville. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake EDS Temple. She was raised in Maple-ton Maple-ton and Springville graduating gradu-ating from Springville High School and Seminary. Semi-nary. Following her marriage, mar-riage, she and her husband hus-band made their home in Orcm, until 1978 when they moved to Maplelon. She was an active member mem-ber of the LOS Church, serving many callings in the Maplcton 3rd Ward. At the time of her illness, she was serv ing in the Relief Re-lief Society presidency. She enjoyed all kinds of sewing, quilt making and crocheting, doing custom sewing in her home while the children were young. She enjoyed interior decorating, deco-rating, yard work, and gardening. gar-dening. She worked for J.C. Penney for many years. She was born Jan. 2, 1927, at Spanish Fork to William C. and Ardella Nielsen Creer. She married mar-ried Kent B. Palfreyman, Aug. 16, 1949 in Spanish Fork. She was raised and attended at-tended schools in Spanish Fork and also graduated from BYU. She taught kindergarten and second grade in the Provo School District for 25 years. She was active in Pari Passu and Delta C'apa Gama in Springville and Provo. She was a member of the Springville Arts Commission. Commis-sion. She was a member of the EDS Church. She is survived by her husband of Springxillc; one daughter and two sons: Annette Richards, Sandj; David K. Palfreyman, Palfrey-man, Orcm, and Mark EDS Church. M' 'T V Anna Palfreyman George Elton George Clark Elton, 87, of I lobble Creek Canyon, died Thursday, June 29, 1989 at his home of natural natu-ral causes. He was born in Mammoth, Mam-moth, Nov. 22, 1901 to William Calvin and Susan Steele Elton. He married Undyne McCormick in Provo Dec. 31, 1925. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manii EDS Temple. J le was raised by a widowed wid-owed mother with three other children in Tintic County. 1 le had worked in the Tintic mines for 16 years, for Deseret Chemical Chemi-cal and as a firefighter in Dugway for 23 years retiring retir-ing in 1965. lie lived in American Fork for 37 years, moving lo Hobble Creek in 1986. He was a member of the Springville 6th Ward High Priest's group. He had served as a branch president, presi-dent, in a bishopric, and went on a mission to England Eng-land 1969-71 He was a lifetime Scouter, and taught first aid and hunter safety. He enjoyed yard work, woodcrafts, wood-crafts, hunting and fishing. I Ic is survived by his w ife of Hobble Creek; three sons, George Elton, Tooele; Blaine Elton, American Fork, and Gary Elton, Springville; 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral was Monday. Burial was in the Goshen Cemetery. Alb George Elton Loren Hutchings Eoren Hebcr Hutchings, Hutch-ings, 76, of Springville, died Wednesday, June 28, 1989, at Utah Valley Re gional Medical Center in Provo. He was born July 19, 1912, in Delta to Silas Elger and Gatsey Lovisa Jolley Hutchings. He married mar-ried Velma Stewart, Sept. 13, 1933 in Provo. Their marriage was later solem nized in the Manti LDS Temple. He attended Provo area schools, and completed specialized training from Utah Power and Light Company, where he was employed for 33 years. During his school years, he played basketball and was an accomplished swimmer for Provo High School. He was a musician, musi-cian, playing guitar in the Bonneville Five Band. He was active in the LDS Church, coaching youth baseball and basketball bas-ketball teams and serving as scoutmaster. He was also a home teacher. I le loved the out-of-doors, gardening, and growing flowers. He enjoyed family fam-ily outings, fishing, and hunting. He had a talent for organizing family gatherings gath-erings with the 105 family members. Heissurvivedbyhiswife Jerry Donahue Gerald Y. "Jerry" Donahue, Do-nahue, 71, died Wednesday, Wednes-day, June 28, 1989, in Tooele. He was bom June 27, 1918, in Somcrville, Mass., to Daniel J. and Louise Wells Donahue. He married Beryl Mrtrtenscn, Nov. 6, 1950. I'hcy later divorced. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Russell (Genie L.)
