Springville City will be the purchaser of the slag from the Hekket Company. The contract will be for loading, hauling and delivering of the slag to the Springville site only. Payment for the contract con-tract will be by weigh tickets signed by a representative of Springville City at the stockpile site. Springville City will handle material into stockpile at the site. The delivery site will be rough graded by the City by March 1st, it is advised the contractors inspect the site as it may not be desireable to use certain types of hauling equipment such as semi-end dumps or other types of equipment equip-ment that requires fine grading and leveling for dumping purposes. Delivery of material is to be completed before April 6, 1984. She was born Dec. 28, 1887, in St. George, to John Stillman and Martha Alice Parker Woodbury. She married John Ashworth Judd, Sept. 5, 1910, in the St. George Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He died in 1959. She was a graduate of the University of Utah and also did special studies at Brigham Young University. Her early life was spent in the St. George area and lla Giles Ila Giles Naylor, 64, of Springville, died Monday, Feb. 20, 1984, at the Mountain View Hospital in Payson, following an illness. She was born March 13, 1919, at Heber City, Utah. The daughter of Orson Edwin and Gladys Ethel Tadd Giles, she was married to Marvin L. Naylor Feb. 27, 1937, at Provo, Utah. The marriage was later solomized in the Salt Lake City Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Mrs. Naylor's life was spent in Springville where she received her education graduating from the Springville High School. She was an active member of foe LDS Church serving as a teacher the Sunday School and Primary. She has been a visiting teacher in the Relief Society and has served Veloy Veloy Wahlin Bailey, 81, of Springville, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 1984, at Utah . Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo following a heart attack. She was born Aug. 23, 1902, in Schofield, the daughter of Mattias E. and Katheryn Houtz Wahlin. She married John Eugene Bailey, Dec. 17, 1921, in Provo. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints. He died Feb. 13, 1981. She taught school for many years and was Camilla Judd Naylor as Ward Librarian. She was an active Temple Worker. Surviving are her husband of Springville, 1 daughter, Mrs. Jim (LaRene) Peay of Springville, 4 grandchildren, grand-children, sister and brothers Mrs. Nell (Zella) Rowley, Mrs. Olive Noakes, Mrs. Wallace (Lottie) Gurr, Mrs. Tadd (Mildred) Giles all of Springville, Mrs. Dave (Audrey) Riches, Salem, Milton B. Giles, serving an LDS Mission in Minnesota. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Feb. 24, 1984, at 11:00 a.m. in the Springville North LDS Stake Center, 350 North 400 East. Friends may call at the Wheeler Mortuary Mor-tuary Thursday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. or Friday morning from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery. She has directed numerous productions for church and community. She performed in community com-munity plays and did dramatic and humorous readings. She belonged to the League of Utah Writers, Utah State Poetry Society and the National League of American Pen Women. She published a book of poems, "To Frail My Lute" in 1965 at the age of 80. She has also written songs. She was nominated as Mother of the Year in 1961 by the Springville Federated Clubs. She was a member of the LDS Church and served a five year mission to the St. George Temple with her husband. Survivors include two sons and one daughter; Dr. Clair W. Judd of Springville ; Dr. Thomas Robert Judd of Spanish Fork; Mrs. Ruth Excell of Ogden; 11 grandchildren; 22 great- grandchildren. Burial was in the Springville City Cemetery. V eloy Bailey Vee Spencer Vee W. Spencer, 63, of Spanish Fork, died Sautrday, Feb. 18, 1984, at Mountain View Hospital, Payson. A sister, Lucy Pickering lives in Springville. He was born April 7, 1920, in Indianola, to Elmer B. and Roxie A. Vest Spencer. He. married Rosine Bozoghlanian, Aug. 16, 1944, in Alexandria, Egypt. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He w-as retired from Trojan Powder Company after 35 years. Survivors include his wife of Spanish Fork; one son and two daughters; Rosine Spencer and Roy Spencer both of Spanish Fork; Deanna Shepardson of Las Vegas, Nev.; Rasemary Abbott of Garland; five grandchildren; one brother and three sisters; Elmer Glade Spencer and Mrs. Leon (Dorthy) Smith, both of Spanish Fork; Mrs. Lucy Pickering of Springville and Mrs. Leon (Betty) Smith of American Fork. Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Spanish Fork Stake Center, 1006 E. 200 S. Friends may call at the church, one hour before services. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
