Last week was Spirit Week at Springville High School and the fans at the game showed their enthusiasm. en-thusiasm. The game started off slow with no baskets from either team for the first minute of play. Then guard Chris Child made a steal from Spanish Fork and Les Chappell, sophomore forward, scored two points. From then on the scoring was even for both teams as they shot basket for basket. But Springville's offense was hot and the Devils controlled the lead the whole quarter. Devil defense did a great job as they kept the Dons from getting under the basket, forcing them to shoot from outside the key. The first quarter score was 14-12 for the Devils and that was the last time Spanish Fork was even close. "B" League Jan. 24 Buffo's 86, Little Giant Industries 47; High Scorers: D. Atwood 24 pts., D.
