Calvin Packard, chairman and president of the board for Central Bank, has announced the promotions of two members of the Provo corporation office. Kim Heal has been advanced to assistant manager in the bank's real estate department. He has held several positions since arriving at Central Bank in 978 after graduating grad-uating from Brigham Young University. Kim has gone through the officer training program and has had experience in the bankcard department along with collections. He resides in Provo with his wife, Shelly, and their two children. Ron Heap, who has been with Central Bank in their bankcard department for nearly one year, has been promoted to assistant manager in that department. The Defensive Driving Course is an eight-hour classroom course on professional techniques for high crash-avoidance. You can lessen the possibility of becoming a traffic victim by enrolling in the Defensive Driving classes starting in Provo, Wednesday, Wed-nesday, June 1, at Provo High School, 7:00 p.m. Learn the evasive actions necessary to avoid a traffic accident. For further information and enrollment, call the Utah Safety Council at 533-5851. The Registration Fee for the Defensive Driving Course is $17.00 per person.
