OBITUARIES Cory D. Dixon Cory D. Dixon, 22, died July 30 of injuries suffered suf-fered at the auto race track in Pleasant Grove, Utah. He was born October Oc-tober 16, 1959 in Vernal, Utah, a son of William (Pete) and Patsy Rae Harrington Dixon. He received his education in Utah and California schools and was employed in construction con-struction in San Diego and also worked with his father driving trucks for the Southwest Foods in Las Vegas. He was a member of the LDS Church. Surviving are his parents of San Diego, one sister and one brother: Robin Sue Dixon of San Diego; Kurt Laren Dixon of San Diego; grandparents: grand-parents: Mr. and Mrs. Dick M. Dixon of Payson; Mr. and Mrs. Ned Cowan of Orem; Mr. and Mrs. William Paul of San Francisco, Calif. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at n a.m. in the Walker Mortuary in Payson. Herald - Page Fifteen ilillir I i r4 m u Sera Hi Hutchings Sara Hill Hutchings, 72, of Springville, died Saturday, July 31, 1982 at Bountiful after an illness. She was born Oct. 2, 1909 at Springville to John Shelton and Minerva Johnson Hill. She married Albert Silas Hutchings on June 1, 1934 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died June 19, 1980. She was active in the LDS Church having taught Sunday School, Y.W.M.I.A., and Primary on both Ward and Stake levels. She was a graduate of Springville High School and received a Normal Certificate from the Brigham Young University. She taught school in Mapleton and Lake Shore for 14 years. She was later employed at the Utah State Hospital in Provo and at the Brigham Young University. She is survived by a son, Robert D. Hutchings of West Bountiful, and a sister Mrs. Newell (Dorothy) Weight of Orem. A son, Paul, proceeded her in death. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel in Springville. Bishop Randall Morgan officiated. Burial was in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery. |
