Heart Fund drive this week The Utah Heart Association will hold its "Five Cents for LIFE" residential campaign February 23-March 3, according ac-cording to Mrs. James Clark, Jr., Springville Chairman. "Five cents for LIFE" is the new name for the traditional Heart Fund campaign. Heart disease is a family problem afflicting husbands, wives and children. Because of this we are asking families to give five cents for each year of the combined ages of their family. "We had a record year in 1980 by raising more than $455,000 in the state," says Dr. Leland S. Briggs, President of the Utah Heart Association and Provo ( cardiologist. "More than 3,500 volun--.z teers in Utah County will collect funds : to promote heart research." The Utah Heart Association's statewide fund raising goal for the 1981 campaign is $527,000, an increase of 15- z percent from 1980. The goals for Utah County is $40,000. "We have turned the corner, " says a Dr. Briggs, "Cardiovascular disease is o actually on the decrease, but much more has to be done." - t Please be generously old when a Five Cents for LIFE volunteer calls at your door. Amtec makes changes in business Bishop Dennis Patten Patten is bishop in St. George Mr. and Mrs. Frank Patten have spent the past weekend in Southern Utah where their son Dennis Patten was installed in-stalled as Bishop of the St. George 19th Ward. He and his wife Terry and four children have lived in the St. George area for the past six years-just recently having moved into their new home in Bloomington Hills. Dennis is employed as' an architect in the office of Stoker and Co. Marie Ebner-Eschenback Dale Lee Amtec Industries, Incorporated, a health food manufacturer located in Spanish Fork, Utah reports record sales in 1980 in excess of $14 million dollars. This figure represents a sizeable gain over the $10.6 million consolidated sales figure realized in 1979. Due to this rapid growth, Amtec is pleased to announce several changes in it's organization: Included in the change are Monte C. Golding, controller; and Dale Lee, director, of sales. Both are Springville residents. Mr. Golding comes to Amtec with accounting experience at Norris Industries and Citicorp. He was controller of Mail-well Mail-well Envelope Company, San Gabriel and Hawaii. He received a B.S. Degree in accounting from BYU in 1971 and an M.B.A. Degree from Pepperdine University in 1978. Mr. Golding recently moved to Springville with his wife Lynda and their four children. Among his interests are sports, church activies, and his family. Dale Lee is currently entering his fourth year of service with the company. com-pany. Involved initially with product development, develop-ment, he moved into the Sales Department last year as Divison II Sales Representative.
