Nebo District plans migrant summer school Nebo School District is sponsoring an educational program this summer for children of migratory farm workers. It will be held at the Salem Elementary School according to Garth Olson, director of Federal Programs. Classes are scheduled to begin June 9 and run through August 1. Hie program provides a learning experience for children 5 - 17 years-of-age under Title I and a day-care center for the younger children, under the direction of the Migrant Council. The migrant families come into this area mainly from Texas and Arizona to work in the fields and orchards. Farmers are urged to encourage the migrant children to attend the summer school. In addition to the educational program, meals are provided for 'the children under the special food service program. Free meals will be made available to those meeting the approved ap-proved eligibility criteria and will be offered without regard to race, creed, color or national origin. Prior to the start of the project, the public may make suggestions or recommendations concerning con-cerning the migrant-education migrant-education program. These suggestions or recommendations should NOTICE The Springville City Cemeteries Division would like to urge any citizen having flowers, vases, planters or other decorations of any kind they want to pick them up from the cemeteries before June 2, 1980. After this time all flowers and decorations will be cleaned up. We would also like to remind the citizens of the ordinances dealing with the Decoration of graves. Fuel prices rise Mountain Fuel Supply Company has received approval for a $10.5 million general rate increase in-crease from the Utah Public Service Commission. Com-mission. The increase is 4.1 percent and became effective May 20. It allows for a 15.5 percent return on equity. Mountain Fuel filed for a $12.4 million general increase January 4. The $10.5 million figure approved ap-proved by the commission com-mission was reached in a stipulation between Mountain Fuel and the Utah Division of Public Utilities. The first "salary" was an allowance given to Roman soldiers be directed to Garth Olson, District Office, Spanish Fork, or Roland Hamilton, Salem School. Mr. Seal recognizes the importance of the technical colleges and a need for closer relationship with higher education. He also sees a need for stability in the taxing structure. He desires hearing and listening to those whom he would represent. "Gee is interested in people of all ages. He is energetic and resourceful, resour-ceful, and has the time to serve with no conflict that would impair his time needed as a state senator. Mr. Seal is a life-long resident of Utah County. His family operates a large fruit orchard in Mapleton. He is a University graduate in Political Science and Sociology and was first alternate to West Point Military Academy. He has been active in civic and church activities in both Springville and Mapleton. He is an Eagle Scout. Gee is married to the former Bannah Sue Mahuron and they have two children.
