You spread it the same day you seed, and it helps your grass develop faster and sturdier (on both reseeded lawns or new lawns). Its special formula feeding encourages vigorous rooting, so the young plants have a much better chance to survive and form an attractive carpet of grass. So this spring, do yourself (and your lawn) a favor. Spread Scotts Starter Fertilizer the same day you plant grass seed. Water as directed. Then sit back and watch the good grass grow.
