They have bitter fights both have terrible tempers because she lets people smoke in their house (it's really her house), although Dennis is so allergic to cigarets he's had horrible asthma attacks. A neighbor claims Dennis smashed all the fancy ashtrays Jaclyn bought but that may have been because she had just left on a date with George Hamilton, her co-star in the TV movie 'The Users.' re v MISS UNIVERSE PAGEANT Some of the most beautiful women in the world will vie for the title of Miss Universe 1978 in the Miss Universe Pageant, to be presented as a special live broadcast via satellite from Acapulco, Mexico, Monday, July 24, on CBS-TV. For the 12th consecutive year, television personality Bob Barker will be master of ceremonies and singer Helen O'Connell will be television hostess for the pageant. Highlighting the special will be the announcement of 12 semi-finalists and the crowning of Miss Universe 1978 by Janelle Penny Commissiong (pictured), (pic-tured), Miss Universe 1977. Representing Repre-senting the United States is Judi Lois Anderson, Miss USA 1978, a native of Honolulu, who was crowned Miss USA on April 29 in Charleston, S.C. The judges include: Actress Ursula Andress, Mexican film star Cantanflas, fashion designer Robert Cavalli, singer Lola Falana, ice skating champion Dorothy Hamill, film director Milos Forman, former Miss Universe Chris-tiane Chris-tiane Martel, producer David Merrick and singer Melba Moore. Fields, Mae West, Laurel and Hardy, Bob Hope and Bing Crosby, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello and an all-star supporting cast. In addition, the works of two of the best-known comedy directors of that generation of movies, Ernst Lubitsch and Preston Sturges, will have represen tative portions of their works included.
