Michael Roylance, Patricia Reynolds Washington girl will marry Michael Roylance Patricia Reynolds, daughter of Russell and Verla Reynolds, Quincy, Wash., will become the bride of Michael Roylance in a ceremony to be performed March 3 in the Manti LDS Temple. Parents of the bridegroom, Finley and Florence Roylance, will host an open house that evening from 7 to 9:30 in the Kolob Stake Center. A reception, to be given by the bride's parents, will further honor the newlyweds in Quincy on March 24. The bride-elect graduated from Quincy High School and is now a senior student at Brigham Young University where she is majoring in sociology. She plans to graduate in August. Mr. Roylance is a Springville High School and LDS Seminary graduate. He has attended BYU, MAJORING IN GEOLOGY, AND PLANS TO CONTINUE HIS STUDIES THERE. He currently is , employed in Springville. Melanie and Jeannie Reynolds will serve their sister as her maids of honor. Karl Roylance will perform best man duties. The newlyweds plan to make their first home in Provo. Home Culture Club hears American women program The Home Culture Club met at the home of Mrs. Howard Sumsion with Mrs. Leonard Harward as co-hostess. President Mrs. William DeHeer conducted, with Mrs. Howard Sanford reading the club collect, and Mrs. Carl Curtis leading the pledge of allegiance. Mrs. DeHeer announced an-nounced that the Nebo First District has received a library contribution con-tribution from the National Federation of Women's Clubs. The funds were divided among the six towns comprising the Nebo First District. She urged all members to try to attend the National Federation of Womens Clubs annual convention in Phoenix, Arizona in June. Luncheon was served to 15 members and two guests, Marsha Harward and Lynette Allan. Guest speaker was Mrs. L.J. Sheffield of Provo, who spoke about, and showed pictures of remarkable American women. Mary Bird played a medley of patriotic songs. y ,7 Brenda Dowhaniuk Jim Miner to wed Announcement is made by Mr. and Mrs. Anton-Dowhaniuk Anton-Dowhaniuk of Springville of the engagement of their daughter Brenda Dowhaniuk to Mr. Jim Miner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Miner of Springville. The couple plans to be married March 2, 1978, at Springville Museum of Art following which a reception will be held from 8 to 10 p.m. All friends and relatives are welcome. There will be dancing. The couple plans to make their home in Springville. The bride-to-be is a student at Springville High and is talented in Oil painting. The prospective groom is a graduate of Springville High and was a Rotary exchange student to Western Australia. He is presently employed in Springville. Kolob young women set standards night Jim Miner, Brenda Dowhaniuk The Kolob Stake Young Women will hold their Annual Standards Night on Tuesday, February 28 at 7 p.m. at the Kolob Stake Center. The theme for the evening will be "When Someone Cares". All Beehives, Mia Maids, Laurels, and their mothers are invited to attend. The speaker will be Lucille Johnson "TV Natalie Jayne Smart celebrated her first birthday on February 22, 1978 with her brother and sisters Kevin, Annette, and Susan. She is the daughter of Merrill and Effie F. Smart of Springville. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. W. Jay Smart of Springville now serving on a mission in Paden City, West Virginia for the LDS Church, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold N.Felsted of Pullman, Washington. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Wallace S. Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Barlow are the parents of the groom. A reception will honor the couple Friday March 3 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Springville Eighth Ward (451 South Main, Springville). Miss Peterson graduated from Springville High School and LDS Seminary. She is presently attending Brigham Young University. Mr. Barlow is a BYU graduate in youth leadership. He is presently completing his studies towards his master's degree in recreational education. Both are employed in Springville.
