Bridge, 500 and rook will be played following the dessert luncheon, which is to be served at 2 o'clock. Prizes will be awarded award-ed and there will be a door prize. LeeMaster The home of Mr. and Mrs. Lorin A. Wright of 906 East Center street, will be the setting for a quiet but pretty wedding Wednesday evening, when their daughter, daugh-ter, Wanda, is united in marriage to Kent D. LeeMaster, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. D. LeeMaster of Springville, formerly of Provo. Bishop Lee C. Morgan will perform the ceremony, in the presence of close family members and friends. A reception is being planned for Friday evening, in the Bonneville ward hall, after which the young couple will leave for a short trip. They will return to make tfteir home in Provo. Miss Wright is a graduate of the Provo high school and she was a member of the Pep club. Mr. LeeMaster recently returned from 21 months in the European theater, serving as a staff sergeant in the 101st airborne division of the army. He was in the service for two and a half years. Daniels, Jr., of Provo, and his bride, the former Mary N. Rizzi, of New York Provoan Weds New York Girl Anniversary Dancing Party Mr. and Mrs. Charley Wright celebrated their fortieth wedding anniversary by entertaining some dou friends at a dancing party given at the Utahna Gardens. Many bouquets of beautiful flowers were presented to the well known Provo couple and an original tribute was read by Mrs. J. C. Snow. Also, they were pre sented with a remembrance book in which the geusts signed. Program Given Navy Mothers A meeting of the Provo Navy Mothers club was held at the Vet- erans Service Center Thursday evening, with the commander, Mrs. May Howser, in charge. Mrs. Arvilla Shurtleff was program pro-gram chairman, assisted by Mrs. Helen Thaiman and Mrs. Rose Zo-bell. Zo-bell. Ray ma Johnson played piano selections, two vocal selections were furnished by a trio, comprising com-prising Patsy Creer, Camilia Tanner and Geraldine Salisbury, and Mrs. Sytha Johnson of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove, gave the book, "My Country and My People," by Lin Yutang. Refreshments wer served. Book Reviewed' At Acacia Meet "The Green Years," by A. J. Cronin, was reviewed by Mrs. M. B. Rizzi, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Rizzi, 113 Cedar street, Kingston, New York, and James W. Daniels, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. James W. Daniels, Sr., of 174 North Fourth West street, Provo, took place Sunday, March 24 at 3 p. m. in the Reformed Church of the Comforter, Kingston, N. Y. The Rqv. Raymond J. Pontier, pastor, performed the ceremony. The church was decorated with assorted Cut flowers, palms and candles. Paul Bar-num, Bar-num, organist, played traditional tradi-tional wedding music. Mr. Rizzi gave his daughter daugh-ter in marriage. The bride wore a lovely white satin gown and both her modesty veil and full length veil were caught to a crown of seed pearls. She carried a bouquet bou-quet of gardenias and white sweet peas. Mrs. Jacob Fancis, as matron mat-ron of honor, wore a blue gown. Her headpiece was made of blue flowers and veiling and she carried a cascade bouquet of daffodils. Mr. Francis was best man for the bridegroom. .Ushers were Frank Bell and Frank Bitonti. Mrs. Rizzi, mother of the bride, wore a brown dress trimed with sequins, brown flower hat and veil and a corsage cor-sage of pink sweet peas. Mrs. Daniels, the bridegroom's mother wore a black dress trimmed , with sequins and matching black sequin trimmed trim-med hat. Her corsage was of lavender sweet , peas.. A reception for 50 guests was held at the.ariguin club, Port Ewen, N. Y. Afterward, Mr. and Mrs. Daniels left for a wedding trip to Canada. En route home they will visit Niagara Falls, Rochester and Waterloo. For traveling Mrs. Daniels chose a rose wool suit with white feather hat, while gloves and an orchid corsage. cor-sage. Supper Given On Birthday Mrs. Flossie Hatch and Mrs. Betty Ross entertained Tuesday evening in honor of their husband hus-band and , father, Lyman Hatch, whose birthday anniversary occurred oc-curred on that day. The long table was centered with a birthday cake, and a delicious de-licious hot supper was served, after which dancing, old and new steps, was enjoyed. Miss Norma Graehl, engaged to Ensign G. Maurice Boswell An interesting society note is that of the betrothal of Miss Norma Graehl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund A. Graehl of 741 South Fifth West street, and Ensign G. Maurice Boswell, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Boswell, also of this city. Plans are being made for a mid-summer wedding, the ceremony to be solemnized in the Salt Lake temple, with a reception following. The young couple plan to make their home in Provo. Both are graduates of Provo high school, and the bride-to-be attended the BYU for a short time. She is active in the Y Val Norns. Ensign Boswell also attended the Y, and the University Uni-versity of . New Mexico, in Albuquerque. He graduated from midshipman's school if (Cornell ' university and is novm, duly in the Pacific, aboard the- USS Alamance," a cargo ship. He has been in the navy for nearly three years. Temple Rites Unite Couple Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Westover of San Diego, Calif., announce the marriage of their daughter, Betty Ruth, to Orville C. Hancock, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Hancock, of Provo. The marriage took place March 27, in the Salt Lake temple. Pres. J. Will Knight officiating, in the presence of the bride's mother, the groom's mother and relatives and friends. The newlyweds have been extensively ex-tensively entertained in Salt Lake, Provo and Spanish Fork, and are leaving Monday to make their home in San Diego. Mr. Hancock has been in the Seabees, serving in the Philip-' pines for 18 months. Early Wedding Plans Made Friday, April 19, has been set as the date of marriage for Shirley Shir-ley Hutchings, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Hutchings of 558 South Seventh East street, and Dean Marsh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Marsh, of Mapleton. The bride's home will be the scene of the wedding, and a reception re-ception will immediately follow. The young couple plan to live in Provo for the time being. Miss Hutchings was graduated from the Provo LDS seminary last year and will be graduated from Provo high this spring. Wight, Mrs. Harold Duce and Mrs. Fred Cooper. Sixty relatives and friends at tended. Musical selections were pre sented by a trio, composed of Mimi Christensen, Helen Elliott and Claudine Marshall, accom- paned by Doris Newton. Doris Clark gave a vocal solo accom- paned by Arlene Shepard. A reading was given by Charlene Groneman and Mimi Christensen played a piano solo. The bride received many love ly gifts.
