A tasty. luncheon was served at 8:15 at the. card . tables, the Valentine motif being carried out in both decorations , . and refreshments, Four tables of bridge followed Miss Fay , Nielsen and Mrs. Fay McKeii winning the prizes. Addi tional guests were Mrs. LUella Thomas, Mrs. Margaret McKell Mrs. Ethelle Anderson, Mrs. Ruby Hales, Misses June McKell and Helen Booth, the latter nieces of the hostess assisted her in serv ing. The members of the Ametie club entertained their husoands at a cleverly arranged party Fri day evening at the home of Mrs. Clarence Argyle, the other host esses being, Mrs. Edna Hawkins, Mrs. Ruth Williams and Mrs Thelma McKell. Supper was serv ed at the card tables at 8:30. The , tables were bright with valentine decorations and the same motif was carried out in the supper, Progressive games were played at the tables following supper. Mrs. Gladys Boyack and Ted Rowe winning the high score favors and Mrs. Genevieve Williams Wil-liams and David Larsen winning the consolation favors. There were ten couple present. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Taylor , and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Isaac were joint hosts to the Fidelous club at the Taylor home Friday evening. eve-ning. At 8:30 a delicious luncheon was served, at the card tables which were decorated in Valentine Valen-tine effect. Progressive games . were played. Etta Money and Harvey Nielsen winning the high score prizes and Mrs. Ktta Tuttle and E. E. Anderson the guest &es; and H. Eugene Hughes and Mrs. Vera Williams the con- soiation favors. Besides the mem bers guests included, Bishop and Mrs. H. Eugene Hughes. Mr. and . Mrs. Byron Tuttle and Mr. and Mrs. James A. Anderson. Mrs. Mattie Ellett was hostess to the Seir Culture club last Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. There were 13 members' present. A delicious luncheon was served by the host- ess assisted by her two daughters, t 'Kathryn and Evelyn. President Grace Gardner conducted the meeting. The time was spent listening list-ening in on the National Boy Scout broadcast. President Henry A. Gardner, head of the National Parks Council of scouts gave a talk over KSL. Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Whitelock or Nevada, visited here last week with Mr. and Mrs. Uri Stewart Jr., they returned home and Mrs. Stewart, accompanied them for a short visit. She returned home Monday. Mr. and Mrs. John James en tertained the EbaLor club Mon day evening at their home. A hot supper was served at the card tables at 8 o'clock. Progressive 500 followed, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bradford winning the prizes for high score. Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Nash the consolations prizes and Mrs. Blanche Bradford the trav eler's prize. Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Olsen were special guests. Students of Mildred's School of Dance entertained with several numbers at the Gleaner girl's Val entine dance, at the Third ward amusement hall Tuesday night. Albert Vicklund entertained with a vocal solo. Games, dancing and refreshments provided a success ful entertainement.
