R-S The Useful Twelve 4-H club has over-grown iu name, so it Is now two clubs instead of one. Some of the members organized The Happy Workers club Thursday Thurs-day afternoon at the home of the leader, Frances Hunn. The officers offi-cers are: President, Beth Gurr; vice president, Betty Bone; secretary. sec-retary. Juanita Campbell; song and cheer leader. Edna May VVag-ner; VVag-ner; reporter. Mary Daley: party committee. Shirley Andrews and Ardis Dollahite. The girls learned to cook apples four different ways at their meeting. Other members of the Useful Twelve club organized the Seven 4-H Leaflets Thursday afternoon at the home of their leader. Norma Nor-ma Dunford. The new officers are: Lily Burgener. assistant leader; lead-er; Elva June Harfsen. president; Meryl Dunford, vice president: Helen Dunfdrd. secretary; Donna Lou Hall, reporter ; Norma Meld-rum, Meld-rum, song and cheer leader; Bar bara Heinerman and Beth Williams, Wil-liams, recreation leaders. This is a foods club, and different ways of cooking foods are demonstrated each week. Bishop and Mrs. A. Ray Ekins and daughter Ruth were guests at a trout dinner in Provo canyon Wednesday given by Mr. and Mrs. Dean Davis. Mrs. Martha Davis was also a guest. Bishop Ekins has his leg in a cast, resulting from a broken ankle, but is improving. im-proving. Mrs. Oliver M. Hansen and Mrs. Alden Chatwin spent three days in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Christensen and Mrs. Mabel Jensen of Ogden visited here Thursday. The children s recreation class held Tuesday afternoon under the direction of Mrs. Oliver M. Hansen Han-sen and Mrs. AWen Chatwin, was enjoyed by a large group of children. All Pleasant View and Edgemont children are invited to these classes which are held Tuesday's Tues-day's at 3 o'clock in the Pleasant Pleas-ant View amusement hall. Mrs. Wilford Gurr and daughters, daugh-ters, Mary Lou and Thelma of Nevada are visiting here with the Wallace Gurr family. The -Happy Six 4-H culb girls made several kinds of sandwiches at their meeting this week. The following were present: Miss Louise Liechty and Miss Ruth Ekins, leaders, and Alta Hansen, ArlyB Chatwin. Mary Beth Berry, Melba Liethty and Minnie Ekins. Mrs. P. K. Nielsen is spending a week ifc price with her daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Milton Jones and Mrs. Virginia Migliori. Her granddaughter, grand-daughter, Marjory Migliori, will return with htr to spend a few weeks "here. Elizabeth MigHoii is visiting at the Nielsen home for a month.
