It was held at the home of the presi dent, Mrs. Mary P. Harding. Dinner Din-ner was served afeight o'clock at cne long table. The centerpiece was a miniature winter scene with a snow covered log cabin surrounded surround-ed with pine trees. Miniature fig ures completed the picture. The table was lighted with tall red candles twined with smllax and clever hand-made pine tree cards- marked the places. Mrs. Mary Jeppson was toastmistress and responses re-sponses were made by Mary P. Harding,' Dr.. Asa, L. Curtis, Ann J. loveless, Ethel Page, Emma Wl- -sen;" 'George 9. Spencer and Julia Hancock. Mrs Ada Taylor direct ed the singing of Christmas carols and a Christmas story told by Leona Dixon was finished just es Santa Claus appeared and distrib uted gifts to all from a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. The fes tivities concluded with clever contest con-test games directed by Mrs. Emma Wilson. The members of the Toung Ladies M. I. A. Nebo stake board entertained the Young Men's board and their partners at a most enjoyable Christmas party at the Tabernacle. Stockings were provided pro-vided by each guest in wttch Santa Claus placed gifts as, he appeared during the entertainment. A depression de-pression pie was a jolly feature, following with games and refreshments refresh-ments "to complete the varied program. pro-gram. The teachers from the Taylor and Peteetneet schools held their, annual Christmas party Wednesday Wednes-day evening from 5 to 9 o'clock at the Taylor scnooi. a v;nriBimi tree and tkte exchange of gifts was a pleasant5 feature. Supper was served followed with a variety of clever games. Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum McCletlan, Mrs. Fearn Gray and Miss Lillian Gray were Salt Lake visitors during dur-ing the week. Officers and teachers of the Fourth ward Sunday school and their partners participated in a most successful Christmas party Wednesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Bartholomew. A program was given which included in-cluded a vocal trio, Golden Taylor, Edith Bartholomew and Ella Gale; Ch'ristmas story, Mrs. Ivy Fran-corn; Fran-corn; vocal solo. Golden Taylor. Santa Claus paid a visit to the group and each one received a gltt.
